Went there today. No one offered to help me because I look young (despite being in my 30s). When I left the fitting room with a pair of pants the old lady finally paid attention and then told me to fix my dress because it wasn't buttoned to hide my cleavage. Disgusting behavior my a retail worker . Go to a retirement home if you want to see that.

My experience was terrible here. I bought a pair of jeans that cost over $100 and they got holes on both sides of the inner thighs after less than 10 wears. The manager was extremely rude, not helpful, and poorly dressed. I came in asking for them to be repaired, she wouldn’t. I asked for a replacement pair, she wouldn’t help with that. After I asked for a third time, she finally agreed to give me a coupon for a new pair. THEN she had the audacity to demand my jeans from me. When I said no, she took the coupon back from me. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I used to shop here all the times and buy a variety of clothes from here, but I will never support this store again after seeing the quality of the pants and the terrible manager and customer service.

I have ordered all my jeans from Madewell for years. Unfortunately, I experienced an issue with one of my pairs for the first time recently and came into the store for a return or exchange (There was a defect where the fabric started pilling after little use and proper washing).The managers were not very helpful or friendly, refusing the jeans saying they could not be resold because I had cut the tags off and had them hemmed. Well, I was planning to keep them until they broke! And they can’t be resold due to the defect anyway. Shop here for the clothes, NOT the customer service. They take no accountability for defects that are out of the customer’s control.

I have been trying to make a return for almost a month. Ordered online via madewell.com and store wouldn't accept return. Told me to contact third party vendor via email. Two emails with vendor and they haven't responded and no phone number on site. Madewell keeps apologizing as I call weekly to try and get this resolved but solution as of yet. BUYER BEWARE. I'm out $200.

Great place to buy quality jeans , bring in a old pair of jeans and get $20 off a new pair. If you sign up to make a free account in store or online you get a $25 birthday reward. The only place that offers jeans that come in the “curvy” line to fit my body shape (:

EDIT: I contacted Madewell customer service who got me in touch with the manager for this store. The situation has been settled and the shop honored the $25 birthday credit. Thank you.Shop online, not in this store! Denim is great. Sales associates are not. I came in three weeks ago to buy my first pair of Madewell jeans. Love them! I bought a pair of jeans and brought in two pairs of old denim to be donated. I recieved 2 coupons in return, as is typical. I also signed up to be an "Insider" in store while checking out to start earning points. I began receiving the "Insider" emails and promotions. Came back in yesterday to buy more denim and use my coupons. Turns out the coupons I received for donating my old denim are incorrect. Luckily for me, they accepted them anyway. Then, I gave them the info for my "Insider" account at check out. My account was not found. Meaning the points I thought I earned for my first purchase didn't count. I was then told that as an Insider, you get a $25 gift card for your birthday. Well, my birthday was a week ago and I told them that. They didn't honor the $25 offer, even after they were ones who brought it up! Obviously a mistake was made on their end setting up the account somehow and now I feel robbed of $25. Terrible customer service. Love the jeans though.

While i did not buy anything in this store, i accidentally left my wallet with my license, cash, and cards in it and just now i opened my mailbox to see it all packaged up in a madewell bag. Thank you to Rija for sending it back to me! I attempted to call the store and at least leave her a thank you note but i believe it is closed for now. Nice to know there are still nice people in this world! Thank you Rija so much, made my day today.
