I have been shopping at Express for years and have been a huge fan. When I went into the location in my local mall today I discovered it is closing, so then I learned I could not redeem the express cash in my account or use the gift card I got from a return I made last year. I went online so I could use my gift card and reward cash only to find out I can no longer use it online or in “stores that are permanently closing.”
On the back of the card it says it can be used in stores and online. This is my money and I’m not sure how it’s legal to change the rules of how to redeem a gift card like this without any notice. I know the store has filed for bankruptcy (I guess I understand why now), but no business should be allowed to just take customer’s money like this. This store wasn’t even on the initial list released of stores being shut down, so I would have had no way to know it was closing unless I went in today. I do not live near another express and am very disappointed in and disgusted with this store that I have loved for years.

This store has fake advertising. They have signs saying buy 1 get everything 50% off. When I go to purchase 3 things, they only gave me a discount on one thing. This is why I don’t come to these stores!

Store is nice and tidy, they have nice clothing with items being ok the expensive side. Both men and women's clothes, accessories, fragrances are available.

Decent looks at great prices. I surprised myself given I am a Reiss and Ted Baker guy. I bought 4 pair of the same pants in great colors. You will be surprised.

Customer service really great. The ladies help me out pick out a few outfits told me if I signed up can save some money. You don’t get that service a lot anymore I was happy for the help!

Rude and unhelpful. I tried to return an item and they looked at me like I was insane... it was from a brand called WestUp which was through Express. I was unaware I'd have to return the item separately since I bought it from express's website. One of the workers had no clue the brand even collaborated with Express. What a headache the process was.

The tall guy at the cashier had an attitude ...Phone Number!!!!!! he yelled ...i said why??? no hi ...no how are you ....i have Express credit card ...i love this store just this kinda store "owners" make feel bad people ...
