Dr Schwartz is my veterinarian. My pets just adore her! She is always willing to answer my questions and has helped my little heart patient dog numerous times. The vet techs are very knowledgeable there and very kind to the animals. Receptionists and kennel staff are always kind and caring. One thing about this practice is this place is in high demand. So, sometimes patience is needed so that the staff can adequately treat the more critical patients first. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Be nice, very rude & nasty staff. I don't know what happened, maybe they can't get good people anymore. We will never bring our pets there again.

Have been a patient for years. They are very expensive and push procedures on you with a guilt trip. Recently had a dog go in on a Friday with issues. They said they couldn't find anything overtly wrong with him and wait until Monday. Dog was clearly in pain the next day and they were closing at 12 and wouldn't see him. Found another vet to see him and he ended up needing surgery. When a vet tech called to check on him later the next week I told them about the surgery and they said they would let the vet know. The vet never called to check on him. Meanwhile the new vet checked in regularly. Also, did not call in a refill of dog's medication and blamed it on the pharmacy. Had to get an emergency script for over weekend because regular pharmacist could not fill by the time they finally received authorization.

The bestest. Dr. Swartz was wonderful. Shot she gave my pup stopped the incessant itching. Lovely staff. Very efficient. We felt very comfortable and assured.

Brought my 4 dogs here and everything seemed good. Dr Lapsely was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Recommended Prozac for my dachshund who has terrible anxiety. Staff kept screwing up the prescription. Forgetting to call it in and then placed the blame on me. Then the pandemic hit and Dr. Lapsely was supposedly on a leave of absence. Ironically, I had to take one of my dogs to the Emergency Clinic on Northlake and was told that Dr Lapsely was working at the clinic but just got off shift. He apparently left Village. They kept telling me otherwise. Again they screwed up the my dog's prescription so I got annoyed with the staff. Minutes later Dr Wilson calls me back screaming at me. Wow....this is the doctor that is treating your beloved pets. No thanks, Village Animal Hospital...my dogs deserve better.

After a questionable (& odd) experience with Dr. Jennifer Prior and her letter addressed to me via paper snail mail to my home requesting a financial money donation to her favorite charity, I should have just learned then. As stated in earlier, this establishment really is quite expensive; although that is not my primary concern. However, it made me wonder why a vet here, at a costly establishment, where an attempt at boutique style vet, however with a high flow of traffic; with quantity as top priority, would reach out to someone who does not (ever) question the cost of the services for her beloved pets.........to ask for $ donations....(?). WHAT? I wasn't sure what to say! I was stunned! Now this:My sweet little Morty was treated by (a different) vet here; after being reassured in March 2020 by a doggy daycare playground where he went to play, confirmed with staff & documentation at Village Animal Clinic (alternate A1A, crossroad Northlake Blvd.) that all & especially dangerously, deadly immunizations were timely and therefore he was safe as to NOT put other dogs at risk!He died of Canine parvovirus 2 months later on May 27, 2020.Village Animal clinic had just sent a really pretty, fluffy birthday email for Morty.... Ironically he would not make it through the next month, much less to his next birthday. Heartfelt. He had been overdue for his Parvo booster since September of 2019, they said to me AFTER he passed away from parvovirus.I did not know what Village Animal Clinic knows about the death sentence that is canine Parvo virus. I do now, except I have so many questions in my heartbreak! I do not wish this upon anyone at anytime EVER! I placed a call to the vet who took care of my 3 (THREE) dogs at this ..... place. I have asked that the vet who took care of my sweet Morty, the one who also put him down to please give me a call. I'm still waiting after 5 ( five ) repeated attempts. He was also the one who said & I quote "If you let him pass on his own, it will be really ugly".... He also told me specifically that I didn't have time to get there to SAY GOODBYE. I live 5 minutes away.Because this vet hasn't had the simple courtesy to call me back.....,( under any circumstances.... but these circumstances, really? ) It would stand to reason that the courteous thing, the right thing, the professional thing to do would just come naturally as a person of integrity; then, there's the standard of an animal lover with some semblance of empathy. THAT is a completely different realm. It just doesn't make sense. He was the vet of my 3 pet dogs. I have been waiting since May 27. I have made 5 calls requesting that Lapsley return my call. Calls to both Village Animal Clinic and the Emergency Clinic where he has to work extra hours. Maybe VAC doesn't pay him very well!It just leaves me wondering if there's anything HE FEELS he must hide. He leaves me with no alternative. The appearance for him is NOT good; maybe overworked! The thing is, I have some serious concerns about the after effects of the disease and what it leaves behind and the dangers regarding the future in my home, yard and all of that and what it implies. I have researched; learned a lot. This vet worked with MY MORTY. His disease, his circumstances; he could answer some even more specific questions I have about the seriousness of the deadly disease my dog had that is difficult to eradicate in one's home, yard, etc. My other 2 other dogs are fine.... I've had them since puppies. Morty was a rescue. He was a stray. I needed some answers and this vet from Village Animal Clinic has yet to return my phone call. Morty died SIX weeks ago.I'm heartbroken once, then for the second time, completely confounded by the group of people who run this institution. Heartless! Also, I was told Dr, Lapsley had a new baby on the way (any day....)... well wishes for the good health of his new baby, of course! This makes me wonder further abou

My dog started breathing erratically and passed out at one point. I rushed her to Village Animal Hospital. She had an enlarged heart. I asked the vet if it was because she had a bad tooth that went to her heart and very nastily and matter of fact he said it could very well be. Well it was not, she had a heart murmur But he Didn't offer up that as a suggestion. He sat there and let me cry thinking I just killed my dog. When I had to put her down there a couple of days later, I was extremely heart broken as my dog has been through so much with me and when I was in tears walking out a woman hugged me. The J*** of a vet then came to the front and told me to leave because he didn't want me upsetting other patients. I was t crying like a crazy person, I was just in tears and was on my way out and this woman with a huge heart just reached out and hugged me. What an absolute A*** I will never forget how I was treated here. Pure cold hearted meanness!!!!!! Just so cold. NOT TO MENTION WAY OVER PRICED!!!

more than likely fine for routine vet visits, etc. but be cautious when taking your pet here for an emergency or trauma injury...my pet had a very bad, stressful experience at this office when brought in for a trauma injury recently

I have been bringing my 3 dogs to Dr. Jennifer Prior at Village Animal Clinic for the past 7 years. Dr. Prior is the most caring, intelligent, thorough, genuine vet I have ever come across. She is never rushed, incredibly kind and has the patience of a saint. Dr. Prior and the entire staff at Village Animal Hospital are truly there for pets and their owners in every way possible.

They are a little more expensive than most vets in the area but I always feel like they really care about our babies. Service from the techs and the vets are always the best around and I've been to a few in the area. They listen and care about our concerns. If I have an emergency I'm always able to get in. Vets are available by phone even if they are not in the office. I've had a good experience with them. They also do home visits.

We have used the Village Animal Clinic for almost 10 years. We received many referrals from people at dog parks. They were our partners in caring for our American Bulldog Kodiak. Kodiak recently passed away. They were so compassionate. Dr Prior,Dr Wilson and the entire staff are wonderful and true professionals We also used their boarding and grooming services If you need a vet in the North Palm Beach area they are the best

Went to these people back in early 2000s. My cats were poisoned by iams cat food. They accused us of mistreating our animals. I will never go back and hate them to this day. Despicable and unforgivable
