The person at the central kiosk totally ignored me as I was standing there directly in front of her. But a cashier came over from her position in the store and assisted me. She was very nice, but my initial customer service wait…not so much.

I mean if I'm being honest I'm hard pressed to say anything bad about a book store. Especially the "motherland" that is B&N
This one in Gardens certainly feels more welcoming to customers than the one in Wellington (for me at least)
The staff doesn't intentionally ignore you or make eye contact to then try and scurry away.
I have had many of them offer their honest opinions on books and have wonderful recommendations to something I may have never even glanced at let alone buy.
I've have some people even help my husband stash books so he can surprise me at check out.
I have only ever noticed the staff here go above and beyond to try and help the customers.
I've also noticed the customers at this location are not as needy or arrogant as some other locations
All in all this is a great store to shop at

Nice bookstore with very helpful people to find you just what you want. It’s such a pleasure to feel a book instead of order it or electronic. Staff there was extremely helpful.
Inventory was great. They had just what I wanted.

This store merchandise arrangement had me a bit confused. I found myself walking in circles. However, I love book stores. Barnes and Nobles has a large selection of books. I was able to purchase a toy for a relative and as a premier member it was shipped for me. The best part is that I no longer had to purchase a bag to carry my items.

Love the store. But the transportation section used to be a lot better than it is now. I was very disappointed by the lack of hard bound books on trains, airplanes, cars, just about anything on travel. It was never large, but one shelf is really sad.
