If you are going to rent a U-Box - DON'T!! Staff needs 24 hours to pull the box from the warehouse. OK, fine. Oh they did that, ready at 7am they said ... except it seems my Ubox travelled from Palm Bay to W Palm Beach! Better yet, no trucks were available so I'd have to pay $500+ for an independent truck. Ummm, I think Not. Nobody knows how the box got to W Palm Beach and I'm pretty sure it didn't ask for a change of scenery. So, it makes it back to Palm Bay, but not avail till 12:30pm. What?? I had movers scheduled .... They were met with a serious warehouse "cluster flower" and ultimately spent an hour trying to locate the box in the warehouse ... where was it??? Behind the very last row of storage lockers at the far end of the parking lot. Nice work uhaul .... Ugh! This place is horrible!

Customer service was terrible, was told that I couldn’t return the trailer after 6:45 even though they don’t close until 7 pm. Which means I got charged for an extra day because the employees want to go home at 7pm instead of working until 7pm.

I rented a motorcycle transport trailer to take my motorcycle out of town for some mechanical work.The trailer performed exceptionally well, with no issues. Pickup and drop off were simple, and each time working with the team at the location was a positive experience.KUDOs to the team at the Palm Bay I-Haul!

I rented a 10ft truck from this location. It was the worst experience ever. The truck wasn’t cleaned after the person before me returned it. There was no gas in it to the point of pulling out of the parking lot the gas light was already on. Then come to find out there are old tires in the back that weren’t taken out. I was billed for all of these things when none of it was from me. They billed me before reading the notes on the account because I called the 1800 number to report it all while I had the truck. Nobody walked the truck with me to check the condition because the guy at the desk was too busy sitting on his phone. Now I’m having to do their job filing a claim to get my money back. Very poor managed and lazy employees is what I see.

Was charged $31 for not folding the moving blankets properly. After spending $2500 on a rental truck and car transporter, I can’t believe how petty the is company and location is. I called for an explanation and they were very rude. Will not rent form this location again.

Be Honest! When you tell a person that you will do something - DO IT!! Do not overcharge customers for anything! The person who checked us in was told that the fuel gauge line was NOT RIGHT. He came out and looked at it, looked at the photo we took, took his photo, and told us he would update the file and it would be taken care of for when we brought the truck back... After putting enough fuel in to get it past the line where we picked it up, we returned the truck. There was no one to check in with, the other man there said to "just leave it" & he would send us the receipt. When we received the receipt we were OVERCHARGED and charged for them to fill the tank! Here that 1st person NEVER updated the file - therefore causing all sorts of stress on an already stressful - yet joyful day! It took hours to sort through the entire mess, having to prove myself by not only sending the photos but to screen capture the photos and sending the photo timestamp! Guilty until proven innocent! Treated worse than a rat! No human being should have to go through the amount of stress we went through, just to rent a truck!!I also want to add that Uhaul in general has false advertising! For a 15' truck: $29.95 plus $0.99/mile... but wait it's $1.19/mile on Fridays! So we drove 10.80 miles x $1.19 = $11.99 + Environmental Fee of $1.- + $15.17 (overcharged of fuel) + $3.07 Rental Tax = more than $29.95... (Of course, they are gonna try and sell you boxes, tape, & oh don't forget to pay for Insurance! They will want you to rent dollies, blankets, help, movers, storage units, you name it!! Sell! Sell! Sell!) They put a temporary hold on my credit card & then charged me $61.05 for less than 6 hours & less than 11 miles... But I got $15.17 refunded thanks to Melissa Witt, an E-Customer Service Agent for the fuel they tried to say we never replaced! I think it might be cheaper Both for the wallet and the brain - to BUY a truck!Seriously, this concept COULD be a winner if they were HONEST & FORTH-COMING with their CHARGES!!

Thank goodness for the inside technicians!! This is the second time I did my reservation on the app and was unable to check in or check out. The app is SUPER SUPER slow !! The guys inside had already given me my key by the time the app started processing. I finally gave trying to check it in and just let the tech complete it for me.

Wifi didn't work, area had no service. App didn't work for after hours return. Mileage was incorrect on vehicle paper work and I had to pay for it with no way to fix after hours. Never using this location again

Charged more miles than actually driven!! Before leaving the premises, the tire pressure indicator light was on. Circled back in parking lot twice to bring to their attention. Air was applied once, but light came back on. Circled again to the starting place and was told “it’s okay, if I don’t feel comfortable driving as is, next available truck is a 10ft truck”. Very dissatisfied customer charged extra due to maintenance issues for tire pressure indicator which was never resolved!!!

(The location staff were GREAT!! This complaint is specifically about the 24/7 app & the multiple app failures)The 24/7 app is difficult to use and needs improvement. I was scheduled to pick-up my truck rental at 7pm but there were many issues with my reservation. The store was closed and I was on the phone with customer service as he was telling me that he can't alter my reservation. Fortunately, the female staff member (I didn't get her name but she was the only female on 11/7 at 7pm) went back inside and changed my reservation to app pick-up and put the key in the outside lockbox. It took over 20 minutes to get thru the app just to get the code but 1st I had to walk to the furthest section of the location to verify the truck, then back to the building for the key and finally back to the truck.So, between speaking to the reservation specialist that was located in Texas twice, getting help from the on site employee and working through the multiple bugs with the app, it took over 1hour to pick-up my rental. It was difficult to take a selfie, pics of the drivers license, front and back and I had to exit the app or refresh it multiple times.I am giving an average review because I tried to return the truck on the app which was not working but one the staffers was outside at the drop off location and he said he would do the return so I didn't have to struggle with the app again. The truck was great, comfortable, smooth riding and very modern. I would definitely use that crew cab truck again.
