I love this place. They treat my Great Dane with so much love. We've gone here for everything, whether it be meds, shots, or even surgery. They have been amazing. Every one is so willing to help with a smile on their face. They truly love the animals and it shows. I'm grateful to call this my vet!

Please please please ask how much everything is before they do any work. My vet up north always tells me how much everything is before work is done, they tell me why they are doing it or if it’s necessary. Here you think you’re coming in for a quick check up that they requested even though you saw them 3 days ago and charge you almost $200. Oh and it’s almost impossible to get someone on the phone.

It's taken me 2 years to write a review for Malabar Country Vet. I never leave reviews, especially if it's not positive. But I can hold my breath no longer!! 3 years ago I took my fur baby in to see the vet at Malabar Country Vet. She was 13 years old and was not eating. They did a bunch of tests and told me they could only give me assumptions as to what was going on. Every 3-5 months I was taking my baby back to the vet where they continued to do several tests each time … repeating a few of them each visit. Still no answer. I was watching my baby get weaker and weaker. By the time it was too late they provided no options except to put her down and they could only guess that it was cancer. I spent thousands of dollars at the vet to save my baby. I thought it was just the way. But that opinion changed today! After putting my baby down, I adopted 2 brothers a few months later. I've had these guys for 2 years and one of them starting urinating on my bed about 6 months ago. I took both of them into the vet to get it checked out. They ran a few tests and came back to me to provide more water and that most likely the urinating was just behavioral. The fighting between the 2 cats kept getting worse as so did the urinating on my bed … even though he was still also using the litter box. I had enough … so I took my cat to the Humane Society to give him up. The Humane Society called Malabar Country Vet. The vet told them that there was a blockage and that's why he was urinating. THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT!!! They said it was behavioral. I was just in complete shock!!! I was about to give up one of my babies because this vet told me the issues were behavioral, when actually it was health related. They are great if your fur babies do not have any health issues and you are seeing them for just preventative care. DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS VET IF THERE ARE HEALTH CONCERNS!!! They do not do their due diligence to find out the issue to cure it! They have no problem taking your money though!!!

Rescued a puppy, when I got him home noticed he didn’t seem to be feeling well and his eyes were a bit cloudy. Called a bunch of vets in Brevard and Malabar Country Vet was the only office that squeezed us in! Very thankful, as eyes are considered an emergency. Friendly, nice place. Reasonably priced. Carlos is doing great now :)
