Dr Bauman was the best vet I had ever been too. When he left VCA Animal hospital things were not the same. Wish I knew if he opened his own office.

Brought in our 11 year old Tabby and it's just wonderful when the staff know you and your pet when you walk in. Made off to a great start to an even better visit. Met Dr. J as Dr S was in vacation. We live him as well. Both great docs and we started a new medicine regiment with the Zig. You guys are the best. My wife and I are so happy with your valued care and service!!!

I was told by a vet who worked there that I could bring my dog in as they have a compound medicine pharamcy that carries what i need. My dog takes a certain pill for a cough. I bring my dog in for the visit, explain to the vet the situation, my dog Duke has his appointment i go to get the prescription, they dont give me one, they said they would call it in. I said i had to have a physical piece of paper. They assured me i didnt. Later that day i go to get the medicine, the compound pharmacy said they dont have pills but only liquid, but not any on hand. I explained to them my dog must have pills, no liquid (LIQUID GIVES HIM DIARRHEA). Compound place said ypu are out of luck. I call the vets office, they said you can get your script filled at Walmart. They called it in. I call Walmart. Not only do they not have the pills, they have no liquid and nothing was called in. I called the vets office. The tech who left the VM obviously doesnt care and said get it filled at Walgreens. I know for a fact they dont have what i need there. In Boca Raton we had to find a special compoind pharmacy. Oh and my mother had to waste an hour of her day and drive to the vets office and pick up the physical prescription, just like i thought we would need. Hyroconde-proprionate is a controlled substance, hence the hassle. So my mother helps me out and picks up the script for me. They give her a scriot for liquid. Im furious. Not only did i spend 2 days calling around dealing with this, the whole reason i need the pill form is the cherry flavored liquid make my dog sick (we have new carpet). I have a compound pharmamcy in Delray Beach that has the pills, was hoping not habing to drive 3 hours....but thats better than the liquid. So still cant find anyone who has liquid until i get lucky and find a pharmacy by my house in Bayside Lakes. We gave Duke the liquid, crossed our fingers....he got Diarrhea for 4 days. Had to go buy pet pectillan. Buy carpet cleaning machine. All becasue VCA doesn't have a CLUE, and the tech who called, lied thru her teeth. If they dont have the courtesy of doing the right thing by their patients, im gonna tell everyone not to go to VCA Animal hospial. My dog, poor guy kept me up all night last night coughing. I had to make an appointment (earliest i could get is monday) at his old vet in Boca Raton. Thanks VCA, real professional, i love wasting my time and money. Don't send your pets here, they dont care, they just want your money. If i could give zero stars, that would be my ratiing/review.

Having transferred care from the Lecanto FL. location, it was seemless, a welcomed breeze. Very fine people again, just like in Lecanto. VCA Village Animal Hospital works for me. This is Gus.

Brought Bob in our beloved family pet. They were very kind and understanding. Reasonable priced. Would highly recommend.... thank you for the kind and caring service while Bob was there.

There's a lot not to like - unfortunately.....brought my cat in for a simple bump in the head, almost pimple like, which I knew would probably need to be cut out. Instead, even though they said my 4 yr olds teeth looked ok, they started pushing dental stuff and the original 500 estimate became 2200-2700. Also they RXd an ear solution, which I bought for 48 dollars. Looked it up and same thing available at walmart for 11.99. Sadly going back to my old vet - this is obviously a money making only outfit that tries to squeeze you....I think it is important to reemphasize - they said my cat's teeth were fine - it was one of those - while she is under for the pimple removal......and they wanted to add 1700 worth of stuff - including xrays, (280), dental eval (200), dental fluids (125), dental anesthesia (206) - when my cat has no dental issues. Sorry - you can do a lot better, for a lot less - to me, it is a matter of trust and they failed

Best vet in Melbourne/palm bay. Takes great care our French and English bulldog plus puts my wife at easy if you are looking for a vet you can't go wrong with him but stay away from the other veterinary there

I love this office. They take such good care of my pets and they always remember us even when we just call in on the phone. They are so accommodating and go out of their way to try and get you seen asap. Their care club membership helps you save a lot of money. My dog is a senior so it gives me so much peace of mind to know that if I have to unexpectedly take him in, it will be covered by the care club. Highly recommend this office. I've also boarded here too and it was easy and I knew my baby was well taken care of.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Dr Alexandra R. signed my dog's document "official certificate of veterinary inspection" on 12/21/2021, by the time my dog was Giardia and Coccidia positive. Puppies plus ( pet store at the Melbourne Mall) added manually a date of negative test on 12/29/2021 My dog was sold on 12/31/2021 I was hopping that Dr Alexandra and VCA were not aware about it and decided to call them today Unfortunately they are aware and they work together with Puppies Plus providing this type of non sense document. The negative result has not been provided to me And do not want any document from VCA How can I trust them ? I can't By the way I took my dog to other Animal Vet and she got Giardia POSITIVE My new dog contaminated my other 2 dogs that had contact to her during the past days Nobody cares about pets anymore Sad story

Dr. Bauman was really kind when I inquired after the Havanese I recently bought who had a parasite. He was very helpful and went out of his way to help me. He was a lifesaver!

Very pleased with the service and loving people there. They definitely stick by their slogan. I can honestly say I found the perfect Dr/vet for my pet. With everything going on makes my heart happy to know I can reliable on a vet and not have to worry about apart of my family. Thank you Dr. Peterson.

Never again! I took my cat in to be seen for what we thought might have been an emergency. The tech that came out to walk us in was super rude after she saw that I had my children with me(we all had masks). She acted as if we were bothering her by being there at night. To make it even worse, the lady doctor had the audacity to pull me out the room after talking to me as if we lied about how the cat was acting. She asked me if its possible that my cat ate marijuana. Seriously!!! I know I probably looked tired from working all day and being a parent, but geez lady, you could have kept that to yourself. She had no idea what to do with my cat, she then said, " next time take a video", I took him home without a proper diagnosis and had to pay for a 15 minute appt. with no real answers. Never ever again!!!!

VCA Village Animal Hospital went above and beyond for our boy Barley. He accidentally stepped on a treble fish hook. They made sure to get us in ASAP! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you so much!
