Dr. Jason and his assistants are very compassionate and caring people. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our fur baby after 13 years. Everyone including the front staff was so wonderful to us in our hard time.

Staff was great, didn't take long, and the price was reasonable. I knew everyone there were awesome because my dog reacted to them with a big smile and show his belly

As I work in healthcare myself, I completely and thoroughly understand that over the last few years, we have had to adjust our expectations as pet owners and patients. There are more pets needing care and there are fewer providers and staff. I get it. Here's the "however"..........I chose to bring my feline and canine family members to this private practice because I feel that a continuum of care is important, as is the reliability of that care and trust in the vet. I understood when we saw a new provider without being informed ahead of time. I understood needing to schedule out farther than usual for routine care. But when my elderly dog suffered an acute event which was quite serious but didn't require a trip to the emergency vet, I was told that the first available appointment was in 5 days or I could take her to animal emergency. I didn't expect to be seen immediately or even that day, but 5 days for a 15 year old blind, deaf, and upset dog who was an established patient? Not within acceptable limits. I've gone elsewhere, which is obviously fine with them, but I would suggest that the words "Emergency Care" should be removed from the list of "services we provide".

Today 3/16/24 took my dog to Animal Hospital Palm Bay for he needed medical attention. I explained my dog has diarrhea with blood and needed to be seen by a doctor. I was told they do not see walk-ins. I was baffled for this is an animal hospital , and yet my dog was turned away because we didn't have an appointment. Hospitals are not only for appointments but also walk-in emergency cases. When humans are sick we go to the hospital, dog owners take their animals to get medical care. When a dog hospital turns a sick animal away because it's only by appointment, then remove hospital from your business and place it with clinic. I'm so happy I found Vetco my dog was given emergency care.

Have been visiting the vets there for a couple of years. The vets and staff are great. I gave 4 stars only because when you visit, most dogs are a bit anxious, some are aggressive and some are scared. to keep them down, you have to transfer calmness to them. the front staff are caring and love animals that they approach to pet and talk with them and speak in a exciting way making the animals more excited. I watched many Cesar Milan's video which are great and the first thing he teaches for excited dogs are no look, no touch, and no talk until they are not excited and then you can praise them for being calm. I have 2 dogs who love people and are very excited to meet people and are kind of hard to control them and the staff come over and change their voice to a playful and excited and sit and petting them, and they get real excited and can't control them. even though I am appreciative of their kindness, I wished they follow some control to show calmness to the pets. Thank you PBAH.
