I brought my akc chocolate labs to them as pups. Got the shots they needed, loved the staff. Was glad i found a vet we liked... I call today to get my female chocolate lab spayed and tod they don't do spaying for 54 lb dog. Should have told me upfront they won't service my dogs. Sooooooo disappointed.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Nothing I hate more than just a flat out liar. And this place is full of them. These people don't care about nothing but money. They kept telling me my wife was saying something that she never said and telling her stuff that I never said. Changed vets and they told the new vet I that I denied a procedure that was never offered maybe to try and make themselves look like they care who knows. I haven't dealt wit anyone like these people in a very long time and never at a place of business...

Took pet to be checked - they done a great job- day after had serious issues was told doctor was not in and they would call to tell them my issue 5 hours later I get a call back from the same lady I talked to when I went up there - I expected a call from the doctor - just like every where -money over concern.

I was able to get an appt next day for flea treatment/prevention for my cats. Everyone (receptionist, vet tech and vet) was pleasant and extremely helpful. I was pleased with the service I received and the great staff. I’m so excited to have found a wonderful vet to take care of my babies!

Big downside of this place is no vet on Monday and Tuesday and sometimes she is not there on Friday .

HIGHLY recommended, MANY Pet(s) for MANY years. Appt., NEVER a Lengthy wait. Always or near on time. Brought into a Exam. rm. My experience @ River City has been VERY pleasant, extremely accommodating to both Our Pet(s) needs and ALWAYS so pleasant, Professional and VERY caring. Currently, have a Sm. dog with kidney fluid needs. I bring her (2x) weekly @ My Own time/days. The Staff makes EVERY effort to come out to parking area to bring her in for Me, treat her and return to My vehicle.
Also, A Lg. Dog who has Melanoma (Cancer) & Dr Martinez recommended I take her to CCVet Specialists (GNV) for 2nd Consult opinion.

I appreciated the amount of time Dr. Martinez took to examine Isabella and explain the options to me. She even "babysat" Izzy while I had to step outside to use the phone! No overselling, no pressure. I feel very comfortable here. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I will return!

Had taken my dogs here for a few years. Called with a very sick dog and was told they were closing early and I could call another day for appointment. Really?!?! I can go to a different vet

This is the best vet. They saved my uoung cats life when he had a urinary blockage and are just so caring.
