Went to have a tire fixed on my son's bike. The man working was very rude. He said oh well your chain needs to be fixed and this needs to be fixed and I explain to him no sir I just need a tire fixed. Then he proceeded to tell me that the bike was the worst quality bike. And that everything about the bike was wrong. And then explain to me that he only sells expensive bikes. I told him that I was not looking to buy a bike I just wanted my bike fixed and he would just go on and on about how bad my bike was and how bad the quality it was and that my son couldnt even ride the bike. I told him yes sir he can ride the bike. So after arguing with the man I said never mind and left. Will never go back. It's no wonder he never has any business.

Stand up guy. Gave me parts to fix an e bike that I didn’t buy from him. For free !!! Tons of information that you can’t get on internet
And told it straight. By it cheap. Try get it fixed!!!!
What he sells is. Fixed for 2 years free.
Earned my business for my next purchase.
Not many. Guys like this exist. Anymore.

Is the worst bike shop ever didn't even have ball bearings for a basic bicycle I get a my bikes to old. The old man is extremely rude and has a horrible attitude he must have money because if on business alone that place would be shut down horrible place.Needs to learn manners and treat people better.

What an absolutely great experience I had with Dana and his assistant Herman at Putnam bicycles. They were helpful, fun and quickly understood what I needed. I had looked around for this exact bike, a womens G3, and it was priced better here than anywhere else. But the most important part of any purchase for me is the customer service. I love leaving a store with a smile on my face, which is exactly what happened today. I'm so glad I found this store and these guys. Family owned and operated; really down to earth people. When my husband decides to purchase his bike we are definitely going back to Dana, Don and Herman. I can't say enough about my experience at this "Mom and Pop" store. I would definitely recommend this bike store to anyone who is looking for a quality bike for a reasonable price and a no pressure sales experience!

I went into a bicycle store but didn't buy a new bike but I do want to support local bicycle businesses! I bought a tshirt instead and talked to the bicycle guru for awhile!

I went to this shop with my nephew to buy a set of bearings for my nephew’s bike. I was trying to teach the boy how to work on his bike. We walked into the store and I asked the man behind the counter if he had any bearings for the tire off my nephews bike. He told me that he doesn’t have parts for anything that old. The bike isn’t very old, if I had to guess I would say it’s 6 years old. I then asked if he had a rim that would match the one I have, he told me again that he doesn’t have anything for something that old. The guy was the rudest person I’ve ever tried to buy something from and dirty appearance on top of his rudeness. I will never go back to this shop I will drive to Jacksonville 50 times to avoid his bad attitude. I called a shop in Jacksonville Florida the person told me that he has bearings for any bike ever sold. If I could post this review the way I really feel it about the shop in Palatka the rating would give it a negative 10.Mike Howard

Just needed a tube. Store has modified hours. Only open M-F 1pm to 5 or 6 pm. Horrible! I won't be going back here ever.

Brought in two cruisers that had been sitting in my barn for two years. The bikes are great beach bikes but had flat tires, rusty chains and disintegrating grips. They needed some TLC. I dropped them off on a Tuesday afternoon. The next morning Don called to tell me the bikes were ready for pickup...less than 24hrs later! Both looked and rode better than they have in years! Don was very friendly and his rates were fantastic...I highly recommend Putnam Bicycles!

Got a great used bike from Don... really pretty and great service! Bike prices are through the roof right now so used reconditioned is the way to go.
