From the time I picked up the phone to book a reservation, to the time I checked in , the service was first class. Michelle welcomed us and helped me with check in, referred a great dinner spot next door, and helped me get hooked up with the marina to rent a boat. It's been years since I've received service like this. DEFINITELY GOTTA CHECK IT OUT!

A nice place to enjoy a beautiful landscape between lakes and the aroma of the trees.

Under new ownership. Improvements to marina are underway. Restaurant to open soon. Great area to launch boats and water craft. Marina has fuel and only charge $10 to use the boat launch. Can’t wait to see future changes.

Rooms are clean and stocked up with towels and toilet paper. Front desk service is friendly and helpful. Maid service is very good.Food & drinks: food or drinks you have to either leave the property, bring with you or buy the limited refreshments from front desk.

WARNING PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. This hotel is disgusting. Also dangerous. The woman that is at the desk during gravetime hours is worthless. Our first night we got there, the room smelled clean and looked fine. But when we went to get in bed we noticed there was hair all over the pillows. Then also found crusty food on the pillows. It was disgusting. We took them upfront and the woman looked annoyed and surprised. She just put new pillow cases on them. They sucked though. I wish we brought our own. They were the flattest pillows I've ever seen. They couldn't have been more than 2 inches thick. Our wash cloth in the room had a round yellow stain the size of a hand. Like someone possibly used it to clean up a spill or pet urine. The next night was even worse. When we got in we asked for a late check out. It was the same woman. She said they don't do late check outs. Which was fine and not the biggest deal. Then after a couple hours when we were sleeping someone was banging on the door and yelling. I took my earplug out half asleep and tapped my husband. We then noticed he was yelling "Open up, I know y'all in there!" While frantically and agitated pounding on our door. My husband jumped up and looked out the peep hole. He had his finger on the hole so we could not see him. It was like 3:30am. After a couple minutes of doing it non stop he went to the door next to us and did the same. Then came to our door. We called the cops. He was persistent. It was traumatic and frightening. We were pretty sure we were about to get murdered and were in grave danger. We thought he was going to shoot or murder everyone. Once the cop showed up he saw a man outside but once questioned told the officer he was staying at the hotel. With a room number that did not match the appearance of the ID of the man actually staying in that room. (The woman at the desk showed him later on.) He came to our room and we explained everything and told him we wanted to leave and did not feel safe. He walked us to the front desk and outside. (Note our room is visible right in sight of the lobby desk. She saw everything.) When we went to the front desk the lady shocked we called the cops. After he questioned her about the man. She said he was there looking for a woman, the description, and what happened. She left out some details to him which she confided to us about when he walked away to go find the man again. The situation was anything but uncomfortable. She said we should not have called the cops. That she carries a gun and we should have used the phone in the room to call her. Like no. That is not a safe situation she is insane to think that was okay. She would not give us a refund and gave us her managers card. She also gave us info she didn't give to the cop. Like one thing being that the woman was there. But was alone. Like why are you telling us. That should have been told to the cop. We got out of there as fast as possible.Rooms: Dirty, poor service, and staff was idiotic.Safety: Very unsafe. We had to call 911 due to a man pounding on out door yelling to open up while covering the peep hole. It lasted about 10 t0 15 minutes. We were pretty sure we were about to get shot. Then came to found out the lady at the front desk watched the whole thing and was annoyed we called called the cops and not the front desk.

The room was clean and comfortable but a little dated. The lady that checked us in was very nice and informative. The hotel is a little further out of town than we thought but not bad. The sad thing is the bar and grill at the on property marina was no longer in operation. We had intended to sit at the tiki bar on the water and enjoy a few drinks without having to drive anywhere (and possibly enjoy some food and live music - a relative told us they had both) but were disappointed that it had closed permanently just before our visit. It was enjoyable enough that we would stay here again though

Stayed here with family for 3 weeks. Have 3 levels or rooms available, river view, non river view and extended stays. We chose the river view view after looking at options. Our room was decent and kept relatively clean. The main area that rooms opened up to had some extremely worn furniture...the koi pond was nice. The staff was fairly accommodating. There is no breakfast offered. Only coffee in morning.Noticed an odor like sewer. Mentioned to desk and was told it was a near by paper mill... honestly I think that there is a sewer issue plus the paper mill.Would probably stay again.

The entrance to the place is completely dark, there is no place to hang clothes in the room, the coffee maker is full of dust, there is a lot of musty smell of an old room, the floor, the sheets, the towels were clean, the outside of the room was all full of cobwebs. , not a restaurant!!!!!
