Ordered subs online. 1 hour later still no subs. Which was 30 minutes past the pickup time. What’s the point of ordering ahead if it’s not going to be ready even close to the time? Not even busy inside. Ridiculous. Was my first and will be last time getting subs from here.

The only reason this is not a five is size. They do a fantastic job of carrying a ton of brands given the square footage they have to work with but can't compete with big box liquor stores in terms of variety. I still choose to shop here over the big box because they have what I want, the service is more personalized, they are very helpful, and they have a rewards program. Lastly, Crystal was not only engaging and kind on my first visit but I had just moved to the area and accidentally left my debit card in the reader and she hunted me down to get it back into my hands. Kudos to Crystal for watching out for me!

This Publix location is my fave not only because it is the closest store to me but because of the great customer service we always receive. Twice this week I needed to place last minute orders for The LEAD Academy Lions Basketball team. The first time I was able to order online the night before and still have it ready by noon even though the site says they need 24 hours advance notice. The second time I learned the day of we needed food so I got online but wasn’t able to order for pickup today so I called the store. I was connected to Dalton in the deli. At first he told me no they couldn’t accommodate that but then he said hold on one moment. He came back to the line and was able to accommodate our last minute request. Shout out to Dalton in the deli at 5 points location for going above to accommodate us.

I’d like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the honest employees at Publix Five Points!! On Sunday morning, my husband and I bought a $50 PlayStation gift card, along with 2 carts full of groceries. We didn’t realize until Monday night that the PlayStation gift card had gone missing somewhere along the way. Do not, I repeat DO NOT ORDER A CUSTOM CAKE from Publix. I ordered a custom cake brought them a picture (was told it would be easy). What I got was expensive and not at all even close to being worth what I paid. Cakes here are expensive and poorly decorated. I paid $122 for this cake ( picture 2 ) And only half that for a cake done by someone on Facebook that is worlds better and matches my picture exactly! (Picture 1)

I do recommend this location, however... I have only been able to find decent green leaf lettuce there twice in the past year. You can get a a full, huge head of green leaf lettuce at WalMart for $1.57 and it is around $2.45 for a tiny, and ALWAYS soaking wet ONE AT THIS PUBLIX... not sure what the issue is but all their loose vegetables are sprayed until soggy wet. Another thing is that I unload my cart to make sure all the cold items are together do they will be bagged together... duh. Every time I get home they are mixed around in all the bags. Does no one teach bagging 101 before they start new employees?

My husband sees his Dr in Pensacola and on our way home to Brewton, AL we stop at this store to grab a couple of chicken tenders and potato wedges. It's s treat we look forward to and they are always so good until Wednesday the 10th. The tenders were very dry and hard and they had no regular wedges. But the most disturbing thing was watching flies land on all the open food on the deli hot bar. We counted a half dozen flies st one point. We won't buy food there again.

Excellent customer service! I picked up a deli and bakery order for a bridal shower this morning and we did not receive one of the platters we ordered. I called Publix and they delivered the platter immediately and did not charge us. Thank you, Publix Bakery!
