Last year my cat got outside and ate clover weed which is extremely toxic to cats, I thought my baby would die after only two weeks of owning her, the staff at this clinic saved my fur baby's life and I'm forever grateful and thankful to them

My foster dog Sam, had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage 2 days after I found him. He is a very active boy and the healing process has been arduous since he refuses to stay still for more than an hour. Part of the incision has not healed properly and Wednesday it started to look infected. My usual vet was closed for the holiday weekend and, by last night, I realized I couldn’t wait until Monday and needed to get the infected area assessed asap. I went to Oviedo Vet Emergency and everyone was so friendly! Kim helped us settle into a room and Dr. Brue took a look at the area in question. He talked me through the possibilities and gave me a quote before anything was done. Luckily for us, the incision was healing nicely and the infected spot was topical and hadn’t spread internally. They cleaned Sam up and gave us some hardcore antibiotics, a spray for the area, and within 12 hrs he is already clearly feeling better! Everyone was so kind and non judgmental. It was pricier than my normal vet, but it was an emergency and I’m so thankful they were available at 7pm on a Saturday night. I would absolutely recommend them.

Had great service for an emergency visit. Could not get regular clinic used for years to answer phone & I knew my Maltipoo needed help. Everyone from receptionist, Asia, who answered phone (had a pleasant , caring voice!) to being checked in by her & Robin, who scooped up my Sonny so sweetly, when I arrived Everyone was so friendly. Nicole, our tech was thorough & gentle with Sonny. She took him back to be checked by doctor & he looked at her like he knew she was someone he could trust. Dr. Adams came in to explain what Sonny needed, how long would take & aftercare for him. What could have been an upsetting trip, turned out that we met new friends who are excellent in the care they gave to my little companion. You also will be impressed by level of care whether visiting the ER office or their wellness clinic. Thank you all so very much!

Even though we live an hour away, we will bring our dog here if needed. The building is clean and easy to find. Lots of space and parking as well.Thank you Oviedo Veterinary staff!!

Writing this review late but my dog Kylo came in from having surgery at another facility February 2023 where I was sure he would die if I left him there. Dr. Rivera took Kylo from being gone forever to smiling and living his best life again. The staff were great with daily visits and walks, I will forever be grateful for the love my pup was shown

Having lost a dog this past April, we are more sensitive to anything that happens to our pet. The staff here were so amazing. They listened to our concerns and respected our wishes in regard to our pet. The vet on staff listened, cared, and didn't try to push services we didn't need. I definitely recommend this place. Oh, and they have human snacks ? ? ?.

It was amazing! I came in the evening on Monday because I was concerned about my puppy scratching his tail. They were super quick, answered any questions I had, and even provided the advice I needed since I am a new dog owner. The examination fee for walk-ins was 115. But they charged me 65. They did not have to, but I really appreciated it since my puppy ended up being fine! Thanks again!

My dog, Oreo, recently this weekend has been suffering through seizures and when I tell you this team was amazing they were amazing. They comforted not only my fur baby but us as well. The care and love they gave to my dog will forever be appreciated. Thank you so much for all you did for Oreo and guiding us on getting him to a neurologist. Thank you for helping Oreo and us as his parents! I would most definitely recommend this place to come.

My dog has a rare, incurable auto inflammatory disease. The treatment for this disease is unfortunately in any other circumstance- a contraindicated dosage of steroids to suppress the immune system to prevent further inflammation and to slowly let the body heal. Our regular vet was out of office when our boy had a flare up, and a floating vet filled in and saved the day prescribing the medication he needs as recommended by our specialist. However on our recheck last week, at our regular vet, we were advised that we would not be given further prescriptions for steroids, and that we needed to begin tapering off the prednisone. We dropped the dosage as instructed but our boy relapsed and instead of giving him the necessary dose of steroids we were begging for we were given poor attempts at the management of his pain while I watched my dogs condition worsen while I fought and fought for him to get the meds he needed. Due to complications of the other medications prescribed in lieu of the steroids I had been asking for, our boy developed a significant lower GI bleed, which brought us in to see Dr. King last night. I wanted to write this review to thank her from the bottom of my heart. my boy has been immobile for a week and his legs have atrophied I’ve been so concerned we would not be able to make it through this flare. I have hope. Last night she gave him the steroids he so desperately needed. Today, he is walking. It’s short distances. But he is getting himself up to use the bathroom. I am so proud of him. And so grateful to finally see progress, and so thankful to have found a vet who knows this dreadful disease is not a joke. Thank you so much. Riku slept through the night for the first night in a week.

Had to come here to say goodbye to my precious girl the other night. The staff was incredibly professional, comforting, approachable, and attentive. They answered all of my questions and did their best to accommodate my family's every request. I was blown away by the level of service on display here, especially in comparison to other horrible nearby locations such as Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. If I ever adopt another cat, I'll be making the drive to Oviedo Vet Care.

Terrible billing practices.I had a poor experience on a second (unnecessary) visit in January 2022. I consented to xrays for my cat, because they told me xrays had not been done. They found them, and took additional xrays anyway. I was furious and walked out. At that time I spoke to the office manager who assured me the the 'bill' would be taken care of. There was no follow up call and no bill was ever sent to me, BUT they sent me to collections. I filed a complaint with e the BBB, but guess what? They aren't a member! That should tell you something. Avoid this place and their less than charming manager Lauren.

This clinic is the most dedicated and compassionate facility I ever been before. I arrived with my baby Poppy, 10 years old chihuahua to the lobby, one of the assistance rush and took him to the back to be seen by the vet. Someone else invite me and my daughter to a room to wait until the vet could bring me news about my baby’s situation. The staff were so caring and lovely. Sadly there was no chance of surviving to my baby, he had a congestive heart failure and we let him go in peace. We are so thankful with the entire staff’s. Definitely recommend!??

I am amazed at how wonderful the staff and doctors are! I especially want to point out Dr. Jones and her night staff. Dr. Jones had to perform an unexpected procedure on our five week old pup. Both she and her staff listened patiently and answered all of my questions, are loving toward our pup, knowledgeable, and honest. I highly recommend Oviedo Emergency Vet for the care of your pet.

If you have any love for your pet(s), do not take them to this place. Earlier this week (29th) I noticed that there was blood in my sweet girl's stools. I wasn't able to make a last minute appointment with my primary vet so I took her here. After examining her, the vet informed me that she just had an "irritated stomach" and provided me with some medicine. I didn't feel confident about that diagnosis, but I took my girl home anyway. The next day, her p*** was watery and there was even more blood in her stools. I really didn't trust that she just had an "irritated stomach" so I called my primary and was luckily able to get an appointment for the following day (31st). After a couple rounds of test, my primary informed me that she had a severe intestinal infection and that they'd have to keep her overnight to monitor her because she needed a high dose of medication to try to combat the infection. This emergency vet, who proudly states it meets all your pets needs on their website, misdiagnosed my dog and had I not followed my gut, she very likely could have died due to their negligence. Don't waste your time here, because all they care about is getting your money.
