After 14 years of seeing a doctor suddenly and without explanation that Dr. left. Truly devastating for me after building a relationship that long with the Doctor (PA).The new doctor Dr Dan denied my prescription pain medicine and put me on seizure drugs for pain!(which I never took) ignoring all of Michael Zarilla's medical records and diagnosis of me!I was previously diagnosed with spinal stenosis and arthritis.I've been waiting over 5 weeks for a blood thinner that I've been on for 15 years they haven't filled my prescription yet!!! And this is a life-sustaining drug!!!

They are a busy office, but that’s given since there are way more patients than there are doctors to care for them. I loved the PA Michael (who moved), then PA Stephanie (who they should have kept because she was wonderful, caring, and really made me feel cared for), and now I see PA Danielle and I really like her a lot. She doesn’t rush me and really listens to my concerns. I’ve been coming to this office for years and the desk staff and MAs are so sweet and polite. I know they are beyond busy but they always smile and welcome me.

Some of the worst care. Office staff is rude, and seems to have trouble using the telephone. My number- which works perfectly fine for everyone else - seems to "never be in operation" when they "call". Even when I had spoken to them mere minutes prior, and CONFIRMED my number. They would never respond to the pharmacy for refill requests, and if I called, would never call me back, but would insist they did...despite my phone logs showing no missed or received calls.I had a procedure requested which was denied by my insurance, and they never bothered to contact me to 1) let me know and 2) advise on next steps/options. They just dropped the whole thing, even after I asked them to have them contact me.You can only ever see a NP or PAC. I've never even seen/heard Dr Roper in the office. This limits what care they are willing/able to gave, and they have a weird aversion to treating minors for basic healthcare apparently.

I currently see Amanda Tate, she is extremely thorough and the most helpful nurse practitioner or doctor that I’ve seen in a very long time. Also AWFMC is great at getting you in fast, and I am impressed with how fast my referrals happen and my prescriptions are called in. I really feel like they care about my well being. I haven’t felt this way about primary care doctors in a long time. They are definitely doing something right at this practice. The only negative is they seem to have some doctors come and go, but that might be normal. I hope Amanda Tate stays as I feel I’m in great care with her. Thank you Amanda and AWFMC.

Do NOT go to this office if you care about your health. I AM SERIOUS!! My now (Danielle) EX PCM's nurse has caused me twice to end up in the ER due to being a lazy no good halfwit who never answers a call/ calls patients back, or apparently listens to her voicemails. Hiring a lawyer presently, as well as getting local news to run a segment on the poor care for patients there. SHAMEFUL!

I was really trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt despite terrible reviews from so many. I came from out of state and needed my medications refilled and went for a first patient visit. I was told by Danielle, PA that they needed to send a medication records to verify my prescriptions. Fair enough. I was given a week wait for the request to be completed. After two weeks, I called in to check on the status and the women told me no one ever sent in a request form. This is not how a professional establishment operates even after low reviews. Also, pricy copay. Double than what I usually pay. You will save yourself time and peace of mind going somewhere else.

Michelle Satterfield is amazing, she gives great medical care, and is understanding of the patient needs, she's the main reason I only go there

Do not recommend. They lie and put false information on your medical records.I went in for bronchitis, wheezing and painful breathing and fever.I was prescribed 3 medications gave a urine sample and gave me a referral to get chest x-rays to see if there was a lung infection.I got my vitals done by a nurse, but absolutely no exam from the PA.My lungs/chest were never listened to or checked on, neither was my heart, eyes, nose, ears, neck, skin etc.I never received any type of “exam” for any part of my body.I asked for my medical records to be sent to me via email, when I received them I looked them over.It clearly states that an exam was done and that my entire body had absolutely no problems and everything was described “normal” even my lungs. But yet I needed 3 medications and chest x-rays?

Been going here for years. It used to be a true “family” feel, but now it’s just like a mill that wants your copay money to renew prescriptions you’ve been taking for years. You can do better than this place.

I am so glad to be switching doctors after my last visit here a couple months ago. I've been coming here for the last 6 years, and I only stayed as long as I did because of Mike. He was the only genuine one, who liked his job and enjoyed speaking with patients. He took his time with you and wanted to know how you were. Now that he is gone, I see no reason to stay with this doctors office. The staff has always been rude and abrasive, and you're lucky if someone even answers the phone. If they do answer the phone, eight out of ten times they immediately ask to put you on hold, and then usually forget you're on hold! I absolutely hated seeing anyone but Mike. When I had to see one of the other doctors, she would make me take a drug test, but told me it was a pregnancy test. She did that because one time I was honest with her and told her I smoked. She would refuse refills on one of my prescriptions because of that. I wish I never told her because ever since then she's treated me differently. That's not how it should be. You should feel comfortable with your doctor and be able to be honest.

WOW! I saw Michelle Satterfield and she is a breath of fresh air! When she walked into the room, she had a big smile on her face! It was so wonderful NOT to be a statistic... as I felt like Michelle was interested in what I had to say regarding my medical health and I did not feel as if she was asking me questions from a list. What a much better experience!!! I hope she stays!

Going to the Dr. Is never a joy but being seen, listened to and having things explained to you thoroughly makes it so much better. The office manager personally handled my referral and imaging orders and explained to me exactly what to expect. They do get busy and I have to leave messages sometimes but they always call me back within a reasonable time.

I have been going here for almost 20 years. For the most part I was self pay. In the beginning when you ACTUALLY saw a doctor it was fine. Even up until about 3 or 4 years ago when Dr. Rocker changed his strategy and became a VIP doctor. I don't go there (1) unless I am really sick or (2) to have my thyroid checked. Here's the deal . . . they make me come into the office (lately) every six months for no apparent reason. In the past because I pay as I go I just get my $30 labs and no office visit. Last time I went for just that they said it would be $80. Unreal . . . the point being that they only want to get you in there for money. Office visit is $63 I end up paying $215 (approx), it seems like every question I asked there was a charge. My blood pressure was high one of the times I went recently (probably because I had a cold). Asked a couple questions and whoa two pages about hypertension and a double bill. The office folks have really no clue what they are doing and there are always new people. The point being, I would stay far, far away from these folks that really offer no significance to your health. GET IN, GET OUT is their motto. There is so much more I could say negatively, but if you are considering going to AWFMC THINK TWICE!!!! There are way better options, so I have found!!!!
