1428 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach“Our children (3yo & 6mo) have been at this La Petite since 3 months old and we cannot say enough about the experience we have had.To start, both of our children came to La Petite with special medical needs (oldest was a helmet baby, second has a very weak immune system) and right away Ms. Debbie and Ms. Becca made sure the infant room teachers could have 1:1 time with me to walk through the things to look out for and the disability paperwork the doctor's completed. The teachers have been tremendous at keeping us informed on both children's daily activities (eating/learning), but they also give us a heads up on things like when they are having an emotionally off day and laughing with us about their goofiness. The bond I've seen my children make with teachers and other students is another important thing to note. My oldest wakes up excited to go to school and always talks about her friends. Finally, we've witnessed first hand how seriously the staff takes safety/concerns/complaints we bring to them by looking at the camera feed, addressing staff issues, and even having to let us know when our child was the target of another child's violent behavior (yup, that's a thing). My family may be moving in the near future and one of my biggest concerns is moving the children out of La Petite where I know everyone really knows and cares about my children.”
“Little Feet Academy is a treasure. I was always terrified of putting my girls in daycare. After all, you hear a lot of horror stories these days. But the time came when my mother in law couldn’t keep up anymore with babysitting both girls 40 hours a week while hubby and I worked. After touring probably every daycare from Ormond to Port Orange, we made the easy decision to go with Little Feet. The women that work there are absolutely stupendous. I would go so far as to call some of them close friends now. The care that they put into each child is simply unmatched. I get constant text updates about both girls throughout the day. My girls RUN into their classrooms each morning and they have really broken out of their shells and made friends in their classes. What’s more is that the classrooms often collaborate together, making it so much easier when kids transition up a class, as they’ve had exposure to the new teacher before hand. They are also so skilled with aiding in potty training. They helped with potty training my two year old in just a couple of weeks and even got her back on track when she had a small regression. Negative reviews regarding special needs kids should be ignored as I know several of the teachers have their own children with special needs. I am truly sad - no - devastated that we have to leave Little Feet but I’m moving to Palm Coast and have to transfer schools. Y’all I literally was trying to figure out if I could commute to Ormond just to keep the girls here ?? But all good things must come to an end at some point, I guess. Thank you to Jesse and her family for making this daycare feel like a second home ”
