Horrible experience. Everything that all of the other reviews say.Lied about the cost, lied about the delivery dates. When you call to complain they put it all on you for not reading the paperwork properly. One of the worst decisions I've ever made in my life.

I would never trust these people again. They have lied to us, misled us, contracted some bottom feeder moving company, and now we are sitting in an empty apartment with no furniture. If I ran my business like safe ship, I would have been out of business already.

They are scammy, their whole approach is emotional manipulation tactics to get you to go with the first quote you find and even "give" you discounts, but hide the fact that there are hidden fees. Please do your research before any decision making, learning my lessons 1 at a time... Thankfully I was able to talk to the actual movers and they were awesome! They also lost one of my items, I guess we'll see if they can find it.

Do Not use this company!! They were great in the beginning but then outsourced the move. When the packers came it started out okay and then went straight down hill from there. They ran out of room in the truck so they couldn't take everything they were supposed to. Then they combine your things into a bigger truck with other peoples things to store until you move. The truck they used to deliver was never going to work in the apartment complex but they knew that. I knew there could be extra fees but they really found every excuse to pile those on!! When they finally delivered my things everything was a mess. Nothing was marked and random things thrown together in boxes. Very unorganized and very unprofessional!! When putting the bed together they had extra pieces leftover and thought they were going to leave it like that. Even though it wasn't Safe Ship at the end because they sourced it out to Safe Bound they were the cheapest of course so they have a good pitch. Just keep this in mind and Be very aware!!!

Beware of this moving company! They are a moving broker, which means they will sub contract out your move to a third party with whom you have no control over. Secondly, I was a victim of a "bait and switch" plot. I initially told the agent exactly how much I needed to move and they suggested a 26' foot truck. Unbeknown to me, they had only reserved 1/2 of a 26' truck for my move. The trick here was that in really small print my contract said "1000cubic square feet." Would you know that 1000 cubic sqft was only 1/2 of a 26' truck? Of course not, unless you are in the moving business! When the 3rd party mover came to pick up my belongings they would not load my belongings until I paid then thousands of dollars more to cover the rest of the truck. The driver of the 3rd party mover gave me the wrong Venmo address through which I was to pay the extra deposit. I receive a confirmation from Venmo for my payment, only to find out the next day, that my payment did not go through. So now the movers have my furniture in a warehouse and won't deliver it until I pay them again through Venmo. I received my money back from Venmo for the first attempt to pay, but now Venmo has blocked any transactions between myself and this 3rd party mover because it was suspicious. All the while, I am calling Safe Ship to take care of this for me, but they have passed my contract on so they will no longer help me out.Since I can no longer use Venmo to pay the movers, my only two alternatives are money orders or cash. Money orders can only be paid for with a debit card, and my debit card has a $2500 limit. I owed a lot more than that! I was lucky because I had a friend who had the amount I needed in cash, otherwise it would take days for a large cash transaction to go through my bank. My furniture was finally delivered 2 days later than orginally scheduled. I also want to note that they was a lot of damage to my belongings. In conclusion, I would give Safe Ship no stars for a truly horrible experience, but this app forces you to give at least 1 star in order to post.

DON'T USE THEM! They are nothing but middle men, they do not move a thing, they contract out to lowest bidders, the worse, like Perfectly Fast Movers and Safe Ship greatly underestimates the load and when the movers arrive, they price starts going up and up. Then, Perfectly Safe Movers are late, brought someone else's items to us which we had to refuse and make him drive it back 1770 miles to where it came from. When our shipment came, it was not all there but, we had to pay the full amount just to have him open the truck plus, I had to help unload and driver did not speak a word of English. Read what Perfectly Fast Movers write about what their business is. No, they don't treat your furniture like it was their own, no, they don't carefully wrap your furniture, I doubt they have been in business for decades, no business good stay in business that long with their type of quality.

Don't, just don't. These guys are brokers. They drive desks, not trucks, and they pay enormous website fees. Or you will. Their estimate was wrong by half. It is apparently legal to do this, though they knew perfectly well that a two bedroom townhome does not fit into 600 cubic feet. Bad on me, I did not do my research ahead of time. "Customer Service" told me that I could leave half my stuff behind. They will not tell you up front what the extra charges will be, you have to find that out in the fine print, and there will be extra charges. The first driver that they got was great. The second one (see pictures) bullied his assistant, and got into a shouting match with my new neighbor because he was blocking her in, she needed to go to work, and he was going to move his truck when he felt like it. Half the boxes in the truck were crushed. My stuff mostly arrived safely, because I spent a lot of time packing things well.

The broker company does not know how to provide an accurate estimate. My husband made the initial call and was quoted over $7000. When Brian called to make the final arrangements I included items that were forgotten. He informed me then that the price would have to change because it will be more cubic feet. So then the price changed to over $18,000. That was understandable. Once the movers came (MD Movers Solutions LLC) we reviewed all the items and they began to pack and load the truck. They started at 9am and completed my 1100 square foot house by 9pm. Alone with my 8 month baby they were demanding another $8000 because there was more belonging then estimated and they had increase the packing fee for the extra items. Then Safe Ship provided a Taft discount which the movers did not accept. When they they called management to explain they only spoke Spanish. I accepted because I could nothing. Safe Ship was closed at 9pm. My husband and I contacted Safe Ship 5 times and could not get through to any one and no one returned our voicemail. When they finally called to ask about the move I informed them of the situations and they replied " thats unbelievable I will contact the moving company and inform my supervisor and they will get back to you". NO ONE has called in over a week. We will never use this company again. They are not reliable or accurate in there job.

If I could give a 0 I would. This company is a scam. When you first get your price, and say, ok I'm gonna look at others. He says what can you pay. And you agree and sign with them, then when it's 2 days before your move, the price doubles, when it's too late to change movers. Even the movers told me i should have been charged the first price. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Customer service is useless!

Upped the price almost everytime I spoke to them. Started out at around 4grand and ended up being almost 8. Took about 2 weeks which wasn't bad but wasn't great. And some of my things were damaged.
