This hotel was horrible because of Blaine who was so rude to us we had Crystal at front desk who was so helpful but we got there and no mention of tv intranet phones no breakfast no pool no elevators that was up and running, yes I know hurricane put them out but this was five days later and this hotel should have been closed. Concern if you needed a 911 call and didn’t have a cell phone you were screwed. The person who owns this place needs to fire her employee Blaine because he was very very rude working in hospitality you need people who can explain things to you not hang up on you.
Rooms: Rooms were very clean and balcony was great. Needs a lot of work on the outside.
Safety: Elevators not working
Food and drinks: None on site

Beautiful location, beautiful beach FULL of shells! More than half of the rooms have been fully renovated, no more carpet! My husband, very particular about the free breakfast, said it was great, too. Free wi-fi. We look forward to going back ASAP!
*Only 1 "negative" that's not their fault, there really aren't any stores or restaurants to walk to, a car is a necessity.
Pics: the view that we walked out to every morning; wildlife was all over, day and night; beautiful sunny day; and a FULL rainbow ? after a quick Florida rain.

I spend a lot of time in regular hotel rooms (Not fancy resort rooms) as I travel for work. as such I'm rarely impressed because they are all pretty much the same. I have also stayed at the other Quality Inn up the road closer to Daytona Beach.
This property is so nice!! The building is obviously very old and has been here a long time. but everything here is just well kept for its age. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. they even have dehumidifiers in each room. The linens are all clean and soft. the furniture is all well kept and very nice. they have obviously replaced everything recently.
a note on Staff, The Manager On Duty, Landon was so friendly and helpful! helped me find some places nearby that I couldn't remember the name of, using just my description. All the other staff I interacted with was friendly and had smiles on their faces. They must be well taken care of here by management because EVERYBODY seems happy to be here.
The cost is a little higher at this location than that of the other Quality closer to Daytona Beach, but everything is nicer here.... Every room (yes, every single one) has an ocean view.
I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm coming through for work!!

ocean view, clean rooms, comfortable beds, free breakfast.
the pool was great, beach access even though the beach was a little dirty. the place could use some updates & tidying up but it was perfectly fine for us.
Tara at the front desk was able to get us in a room upon short notice & was very helpful.
the outside walk ways are lit, felt perfectly safe there.
definitely would stay here again.

First off- wow the roaches. Did not expect to have to have a can of raid with me at all times with it being rated 4 stars and almost 100 dollars a night. Can't even have food in your room or hardly sleep- KEEP THE LIGHTS ON. ROACHES ON DESK, CURTAINS. BED, AC, ECT.
Secondly, wow the disrespect. Not once but twice in one week was my room gone into with a do not disturb sign outside. They were nice enough to even put it back inside my room- can't really say that's a mistake can ya?
Finally, the privacy is astounding. The 6 inch gap between the curtain straight into a full view mirror let's anybody who chooses get a full view of your room. I've really seen nothing like it before.
If it's not unwanted roaches in the room- it's unwanted people. I'd recommend never booking here. Its one of the most stressful stays I've ever had in 2 years on the road.
Noteworthy details: Roaches, ignored do not disturb signs from house keeping, can view room from outside with curtain closed

Don’t know how this place has so many 5 star reviews. This hotel used to be abandoned but was recently bought and renovated. Even with renovations place is still in bad shape. I can see where they are trying to cover up mold/issues. Found 2 roaches in the room and one ran behind the wall. Won’t be coming back here ever again.

One of my favorite getaways. The outside is ok but the inside is amazing. Free upgrade and nice people around. The ocean view is in all rooms. Great for couples and kids. I'll always come back. Thank you.

Only issue I had with this place was the elevator didn’t work. Only mattered my first night since we had a different room on the first floor for the rest of our stay.
This hotel is kept pretty clean. The rooms are remodeled and pretty nice.
We had the ocean front room and it was huge!
My wife and I and the kids had a wonderful time here and highly recommend the place.
The location is the best!
We will stay here again!

Our room was clean, spacious and looked remodeled. The beds were comfortable. I loved the view from our balcony. It was nice that we had a kitchen but there were no spoons, small plates, or glasses. The front desk said that people steal such things. They made no mention of replacing them. The door to our room stuck terribly. Every time we went to open it, there was a battle. A couple times it took me awhile to get out of the room, and I thought I might have to call the front desk to rescue me. The staff said that the salt air and humidity was the cause, and they did not try to remedy the situation. They gave me $20 off my bill for my troubles. The dining area was nice and looked remodeled, and the breakfast was good. The pool was nice, but other outside areas weren't. The walkways needed attention as did the stairs, which were discolored and had chunks of concrete missing. The elevator had graffiti in it and made annoying noises when the door closed or opened. I assumed that this place was still in the process of redoing things, so I'm hopeful that the outside areas will be addressed. The parking lot and walkways were very dark at night. The staff told me that this had to do with "turtle laws"--that the turtles were affected by light. It seemed unsafe. The staff was courteous, even if though they weren't going to solve the door issue for us or future customers. Maybe new doors and hardware will be part of the continued renovation.
Rooms: Even though this motel seems old, the rooms are remodeled.
