Dean was the only one in town able to diagnose and repair an electrical fault with the airbag system in my Toyota Tacoma.
The dealer recommended replacing the entire airbag control module (<$1200) but offered no guarantees. Dean took the time to accurately diagnose the problem— a fault with one of the sensors in my door, and he completed the repair promptly for a reasonable rate.
The title ‘mechanic’ is thrown around loosely these days. Most garages in the area are filled with ‘part and fluid changers.’ Dean exemplifies the very best of his trade, and I deeply appreciate his expertise. I no longer live in Ormond, but continue to recommend Auto Works and specifically Dean to friends and family that do.

For over a decade, I've been consistently enjoying exceptional service while doing business iat Auto Works. The service quality and integrity exhibited here have been crucial to the health of my vehicles and have won my utmost trust and loyalty. One of the aspects that distinguish this business is their promptness in delivering service. My vehicles are always duly fixed within the promised time frame, an efficiency they've maintained for over 10 years that I have come to much appreciate. Apart from being reliable, they have always been fair and truthful. Their honesty is refreshing and commendable as they have never attempted to charge me for unnecessary extras. In instances, they've provided recommendations that have saved me from effecting repairs or alterations that my vehicles didn't necessarily need. This exceptional practice of honesty further solidifies my trust in their operations. Furthermore, their repairs are not 'trial-and-error'. They're usually done right the first time, thereby saving me valuable time and preventing the inconvenience that comes with constant revisits I have experienced elsewhere. I have also found their warranty policies impressive. They have honored every warranty corresponding to the repairs they have done, and even at the time, warranted items I was not aware were still under warranty, which is an example of their excellent service. I'm grateful for this professionalism, and I recommend this business to anyone seeking top-notch service – they have proven time and again that their commitment to delivering on their promises and their dedication to their customers is unquestionable.

Kenny was recommended by a very close friend who couldn't say enough positive things about Kenny, his business and his family.He told me once l used his services, l wouldn't leave. He was RIGHT. We had the car from HELL. Bought a used Charger and seems like nothing, but issues. The front desk worker gave 0 effort or focus on his job. Waited 10 minutes for him to walk out look at me and then continued talking on the phone about college football(or some other type of college sport) for another 15 minutes. In total i waited 30 minutes at the desk no help not one word to me so i left. Customer service here is nonexistentSense i cannot reply to your reply Owner.You can go ask the guy who was smoking a cigarette outside your office door how long i was waiting. I stepped out there and even asked him if he worked there and where i can find someone. 7 minutes is undercutting but thats fine. You never motioned to me; you looked at me and continued talking no hand singal, no anything. Meanwhile i let you talked waited every couple minutes atleast 3 times if not more. I looked at you and was waiting for some signal and nothing.Also while i may be wrong on college football. You where indeed talking to someone close to you about there college sport over, helping a customer or even care to act knowledge them. And talked in there face while on the phone.I understand the world doesn’t revolve around just myself. As the only one inside the office besides the front desk guy who refused to act knowledge the customer inside. I patiently waited not interrupting the phone call but with no estimate on wait and no communication from the office. No Civilian outside the office i asked could help, so i left because, i cannot wait past 30minutes just to talk to someone while on lunch break.

Been a long time customer.. problem started with my fan belt popping off and needing a new one. When i brought it in they said the fan Belt AND the alternator needed to be fixed.. i said go for it. Mind you when i brought it in everything was fine expect the fan belt.. so they fix the fan belt and place a new alternator in the car.. when i pick up the car i have an assortment of lights on my dashboard. Check engine was the light i was most worried about. So i brought it back to Kens shop… it took months for them to call me and tell me nothing was wrong with the car when they test drove it at 25 mph. I told them drive it faster and you will see the issue. They drove it faster and tried to tell me my transmission was the issue.. long story short i took it somewhere else and my fuel injector was not plugged in.. & another part wasnt bolted down properly.. i can not think of the part off top of my head but i used to bring all my families vehicles here. Not any more. Ken, if you read these check your workers work i am very disappointed. Costed $$$ and lots of my time.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Ahh remember back in the day there was that shop that you trusted with your life and people from an hour away drove to to get their cars serviced? This is that place. I've been going to AW of Ormond for several years and wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. Besides being honest, reasonably priced, professional and trustworthy Kenny, Dean and the rest are just downright great human beings who really care. Go someplace else at your own risk, this is the only joint for me!Services: Transmission

I live in Boston and I try to put off my car maintenance (brakes, oil change, inspections, etc.) until I go to FL in January. I have been using Auto Works of Ormond for the past 15 years. They are dependable, competent and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong bringing your car there.
