Our little 10 y/o dog was in big trouble. Our vet was "too busy" to see her and did not consider a G I bleed an emergency. Their team quickly diagnosed her with hemorrhagic gastritis, a life threatening condition. They saved her . Their facility is clean, caring, and compassionate. Thanks to their skilled staff we have our little one back good as new. They were also upfront regarding fees and costs and did their best to keep us updated. I highly recommend them if you unfortunately find yourself in need. Theresa Andre RN

Everyone here is caring and extremely helpful. From out of state and needed to get my dog looked at after a bad strain/sprain that she couldn't put weight on. We had a great experience here and got everything we needed.

Compassion, empathy, and care were all shared with love for animals and their families.
I greatly appreciate the sanitary emphasis used to prevent illnesses from spreading further.
I can't say thank you enough for treating my baby with such comfort and helping her to heal.
Being someone that works in a 24/7 365 atmosphere, I truly appreciate that you are always there, especially when you are needed the most.

My lovable angel Franklin was bitten on the face by a venomous snake on a Sunday afternoon. I rushed him to the emergency clinic where we were welcomed in and seen immediately. He is still in critical condition but thanks to the care he received we are optimistic. I called every 2 hours, sometimes every hour And a half. Each time my call was answered and I was given any new details about my baby. I was allowed to see him and spend time with him in the comfort room two times during his 48 hour stay. I am so grateful for this team of kind and compassionate people.

They were so attentive and nice for what they did for my mother‘s puppy. The price was reasonable. I would totally recommend this emergency clinic for your pets and the people who work here are very caring.

These people Are heartless criminals! I brought my four-year-old 4 pound Chihuahua in the night and told them to help her because I felt she was near death. They then proceeded to take 15 or 20 minutes. Running my credit card twice with over $800 and then came back and told me before they had done anything to help her that she was taking a turn for the worse and she died back there of a heart attack alone without me.night and told them to help her because I felt she was near death. Then I paid hundreds of dollars to have her cremated and right now. When I went to get her they asked me to Sihn for her and I told them. I was tired of signing for things so they took her cremations away from me and kicked me out of the building.

Last week, my kitten experienced a recital prolapse. While the experience was nerve racking, the staff at the animal hospital were excellent in taking care of her! From the receptionists to the vet techs, they provided my kitten, Tigger, with the best care and made my family feel cared for. Yes it was pricy, but that’s to be expected at most emergency hospitals. The vet techs were great at explaining post procedure care for Tigger and answered all of the questions and concerns we had thereafter. Very thankful we came here. Just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone at the facility! :)

Honest review from a two- time visitor:
I’ve been here twice for issues that arose with my dog in unusual hours. Given, neither time were life threatening. Both times have been excellent with staff providing great care to the dogs and also treating us with kindness.
The most recent time my dog had a double ear infection and was super uncomfortable. Very happy with the treatment explanation Chantal and team provided - truly felt like she (and the rest of the staff) went above and beyond to provide the best care possible. They did not rush our visit at all and the cost was well worth the peace of mind of knowing we chose a trustworthy place.

They were wonderful! They took care of my poor pup when she was in a lot of pain. Pretty pricey, but so are most emergency vet clinics. They were understanding and very helpful about my financial situation and helped to make her comfortable. They even checked on her a few days later ?

I’m leaving a review because I 100% have no complaints about this place as of my visit tonight. I adopted a dog from the shelter and she had just gotten spayed, the shelter did not give me any of her meds and she’s a very active dog. She ended up which I know now getting a fluid buildup underneath her incision which I thought was something more serious from being so active and moving around. They gave me multiple options of plans of which way we could go. Unfortunately not having pet insurance really nabbed me in the butt, but the staff were so kind to me and my dramatic self continuously crying the entire time because nobody likes to see their pets going through anything like that. They continued to make me feel comfortable, and generously donated some needed sedatives and pain meds to my baby so she could sleep through the night until I contacted the shelter. Even though these kinds of visits are extremely pricy because it’s an emergency service, I cannot complain because it’s better than me sitting on the bathroom floor with my baby crying because I thought she was seriously hurt. They’re compassionate, and not one person gave me attitude. I would bring my sweet girl back here anytime. They loved her and continued to let me know how much of an angel she is. (This was also not my first time being here, I had a previous dog I brought years ago and I will keep coming back). I have not had a bad experience yet.

Made us wait 6 hrs to be seen. And tell us things we already knew. Over charging and Wanted to run unnecessary test. Cut off consulting when we refused to allow extra charges and test.

We took our dog here because we suspected he was having a heart issue. The folks at Volusia emergency animal hospital were all very professional and very nice. They we very thorough with our dogs exam and we could not be more pleased with the service that they provided. They even reached out to us the next day to be sure that our doggo was doing well. I highly recommend them.
