I have used them for years, and they have gone down hill fast. My 15 year old cat was towards the end of her life, I wanted to make her comfortable. The Vet that examined her came in wearing huge gloves as if a lion tamer, my cat was declawed! She was advising a cat neurologist, I was seeking comfort care. When I did have to put her down, they insisted on taking her in the back to start IV- I wanted to be with her in the end, she deserved that, but they insisted she had to be taken in the back for the IV and I relented. My cat was dead when they brought her back to me- she must have been so scared, they promised they were going to just place an IV , I know they gave her something. I regret going to Waterford Lakes Animal hospital every day! Suzanne Ferrara-Harney, cat was Smokey, and none of the cremation costs were discussed with me.!

TL;DR-- friendly and helpful staff, clean environment. We've been bringing our cat here for the past couple years, and just started bringing our puppy in about a month ago. We've always had good experiences with the staff and with both vets and vet techs. They've always been very helpful and willing to answer all of our questions and address any concerns as well as provide suggestions upon request. They've also been very helpful any times that we've called up with questions (which was helpful in avoiding to have to come in for a visit) I appreciate that we have to option to check in at the front desk and then wait in the car until the exam room is ready for us, rather than wait in the small waiting area with other pets and pet owners. Honestly, the only reservations that we've ever had is that some visits have been a bit more expensive than expected, particularly when we've had to come in for vaccinations every 3 weeks for the puppy and have to pay the exam fee each time. That being said, they did at least turn each of those visits into opportunities to answer questions and make sure everything has been going well-- but I would like the option to just bring him in for his shots and then head home without paying that extra fee each time. But even this won't be an issue once he's had all his shots.

Misdiagnosis consistently. Pay for multiple tests and never got to the bottom of the issue for our dog after 5 separate visits. Went to Blue Pearl and after one visit our dog was diagnosed properly and got meds to correct infection (not heart related like Waterford stated). Don't take your pets here. It has been getting worse for years now

This is our usual Vet for our 1 year old German Shepherd dogs. We had scheduled a spay for our dog but the vet told us she need another round of shots. We set up the appointments. About a month ago we noticed our female had put on a lot of weight and was exhibiting signs of pregnancy. Neither time that they took our dog in for her shot did they give her an exam to help ease our concerns or confirm our suspicions. I was told the doctor would call after each shot appointment but never received a call. Our female ended up giving birth and we were totally unprepared because the vet never took the time to give her an exam and confirm our suspicions that she was pregnant. How can you call yourself an animal hospital if you can't even tell that a dog is pregnant? Truly one of the worst offices in Orlando.

I have been going here with my animals since I moved to orlando 5 years ago. I will never be back ever again. The service and level and care has went below a 1 star in the past year and half. We went in for our annual checkup and it was the absolutely worst experience ever my dog was so uncomfortable around there new staff. They muzzled her for no reason and it terrified her. Then they come to me and said the couldn't do a fecal sample that I had to bring one back to them. Which makes no sense since you already had her Muzzled . Which I told them I don't live in Waterford lakes anymore I live over 30 min away so that is impossible to do with my work schedule. They still refused to do it and sent me home with a tube. I still had to pay for the test they didn't complete. So today I go back to bring the fecal sample and they tell me they can't take it. Because it was over 30 days since I came. Neither doctor or staff told me that day of exam. Now today they tell me I have to repay for a new visit and a new fecal sample. Which will be over $100 again. Total rip off and scam of a vet office will never be back again.

From start to finish, every person who spoke with me and handled my animals was professional and friendly. It is clear that everyone working there actually cares about you, and understands how important your animals are to you. Dr. Lewandowski is by far the most brilliant veterinarian I have ever worked with. I trust her opinions and advice implicitly. They even have a drive-through pharmacy. This place is top notch!

I've been going here with my two labs for 6 years. Today I had botg Dogs records moved to another vet after much consideration. I've talked about it for the past two years but now its crystal clear and I will not explain what has happened. my gut feelings and intuition along with careful examination of their behavior has guided me. Chloe and Tripp bid you farewell and good riddance!

Let me first say that I have been a customer of Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital for 3+ years. A few months ago our oldest dog needed surgery to remove some cancer. Waterford did a horrible job closing the site of surgery up and it opened up 2 days later. They had to do another surgery to close up the wound again!... and then they charged me for a 2nd surgery!! We had a medical emergency with our oldest dog very early Sunday morning When she started throwing up and excreting blood. We called Waterford to bring her in. First, the emergency line did not work, which was frustrating. When we did finally get a hold of someone, they said they did not have time to see our dog and we could make an appointment for a future date. WTH? She is throwing up blood!! What good is an animal hospital if they don't take emergencies?... especially for establish customers!! It probably worked out for the best as who knows what additional damage Waterford would have caused? Happy to say we will no longer be bringing our pet children to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital!

They treat your pet as if they are family. They really worked hard on caring for our pet during covid pandemic.
