It was my first time ever taking my dog and everyone was so sweet and pretty quick with everything. I really loved Joey and how he had no problem with explaining the vaccines to me, letting me know what each one was for.

After having a not as great experience last year with a vet from this same Vetco location, I had another appointment yesterday with Dr. Neelu (not exactly sure how it’s spelled) who we received great service and advice from. I am more than satisfied with my visit with Dr. Neelu, she was able to talk step by step very thoroughly my pet’s diagnosis and the treatment/care plan needed to follow-up without seeming rushed to get to the next pet’s appointment. She also answered follow-up questions very kindly and in a way that is easy to understand. I highly recommend this doctor!

I have my own vet but I recently bought a puppy and was far from my local vet my wife suggested Vetco and to my surprise Dr.Hines & Stephanie at petco were remarkable in there understanding of my needs and questions about our new puppy.They Both are an asset to the Vetco company truly outstanding people!!!! To be commended!!!!!!!

This company doesn’t just provide bad service but its inhumane.We spent $800 in one visit because they kept going in and out of the office tried to see if they can add more and more tests. Then the vet said she isn’t sure so she needs another consult but if we want it done same day, another $40. Then she said it will take 1.5 hour. I went next door shopping for 10 minutes she called back to pretty much tell me my cat is dying. Even though I said I’m next door and can come right back, she kept telling me how the result is bad but yet couldn’t wait for me to come back to talk. When I asked for solution, she pretty much said they can’t help further, I need to take the cat else where. Then why did you ask me to pay all these tests and said there’s a treatment plan same day? Your website says it’s preventative care only. I wish I saw that before. Why was there a treatment plan promise if your office is incapable? Then I came back to pick up my cat, the tech (not the vet) had the quality of life talk in the lobby, not even in a private room for such a sensitive conversation. I guess it isn’t sensitive to them since money is done here. Also, learn from my lesson, these tests are trash when you go to an actual vet. Don’t ever take your fur babies here. Even just for shots, there are so many options out there.

Took my dog here to get vaccines updated. Receptionist was nice and got me checked in smoothly. Took less than a couple minutes for the vet tech to bring me into a room to get everything set up. Joey and Dr. Larive were so kind answering all my questions and making sure I got the best deal possible since I’m on a budget. Thanks again!

I would highly recommend vetco total health to anyone looking for great services and the best bang for your buck! My vet tech joey was extremely professional and knowledgeable, making my first puppy visit a breeze. And Dr rodgrigez was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and she went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the quality care they were providing, all the way to check out where i was given great advice about how to save some money on puppy vaccines with pals rewards and a very convenient membership We will be seeing everyone again in the future!”

I do not recommend this clinic. The staff is not empathetic with patients. They do not take into consideration the circumstances of the owners or the well-being of the pets. Their main priority is to order unnecessary tests with the excuse that they cannot give any type of diagnosis if all the unnecessary tests are not performed. I suggested to Dr. Estela Rodriguez Lopez of Victoria if she could begin treatment for my dog, and modify it later, if necessary, after getting the results. She responded in a very rude tone that she could not make any diagnosis without the test results. Any veterinary doctor with adequate training and experience is capable of making a preliminary diagnosis and modifying it depending on the test results. I was very worried since I was leaving for vacation and I did not want to leave my pet without treatment or delay it. I took my pet to another vet clinic and with only one preliminary in office test that was later sent to an external laboratory for confirmation, they were able to begin the treatment right away.

After bringing my dog here for a visit, I asked the front desk if they could send me the vet's medical notes for my pet insurance. They told me it could take up to 24hrs to get them emailed. Fine. A week went by, nothing. I called them and the clueless lady who answered told me she'd put in another request that could take 24hrs. Another week goes by, nothing. I called 2 more times and still nothing. All I was asking for was a simple email of a pdf. Why that would even take 24 hours is beyond me. Still haven't gotten it to this day. I won't be bringing my dog back to this place. My advice- stay away from these big corporate vets and go to a locally run vet.
