This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a family vacation in Orlando. I stayed here for 4 days and it has absolutely everything from a foodcourt with many options to bars, game room, starbucks and many great amenities. I would like to thank the great team that this hotel has each staff that I spoke to was pleasant & helpful which made our stay easier. The suite we stayed in was spectacular and the cleanliness was top of the line. Checking in and checking out was also so easy because they send you an email to do so or you can do it by the room tv and it saves you from standing in the very long lines. The room keys are also great souvenirs with your name on it that you can take as memory. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and I am planning on returning to this hotel when visiting Orlando again. Thank you!

We were there celebrating my 35th birthday, and from the moment we checked in and put on the "Birthday" button, we were showered with happy birthday's and miscellaneous free items by both staff and guests alike (free pastries, beverages, & desserts). It was truly an amazing weekend, and just another reason that Dockside is firmly our go-to hotel for Orlando get aways. This is in direct comparison to a trip about 2 months prior to Disney for our engagement celebration, where after asking numerous different ways how we could get engagement or upgrades from Disney related to it, we were given absolutely no special treatment, and left very disappointed after a weekend at their resorts.Universal Orlando & Dockside in particular are really picking up the slack left by Disney in their mad rush for more and more money, as their customer service continues to dwindle. Thank you for a great birthday and and even better stay.

rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely household staff. Front desks inadquately staffed to deal with queues. loved bar area & transportation to parks was excellent. Staff way nicer in Disney.corridors over-run with teenagers at all hours of the early morning...Rooms: big and clean. Minimal ultilites but had already done my research on these. Great location for parks and I Drive.Nearby activities: near the oultets and plenty of restaurant choice nearby.Safety: very long corridors and long distance to stairs in event of fire.Walkability: 10 min walk or less to Walgreens and i ride opp hotel.Food & drinks: good selection and prices acceptableNoteworthy details: not enough front desk staff.

Rooms: We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. 2 of the queen beds were in the common area and one queen bed in an actual separate room. If that works for your family, it's worth it!

The first 2 nights I stayed at Surfside, the hotel was very manageable and easy to get around. My family and I decided to stay for 2 additional nights but we decided to check out DockSide and boy was it a nightmare from HELLLLLLL.First let’s dicuss parking/ room location, the hallways are soooooo long and it takes forever to get back and forward from your vehicle to your room, and traveling with an infant and a toddler that part was most definitely the worst. Yesterday as my kids and I were walking down the hallway we can sense the smell of marijuana coming from someone’s room, the smell was extremely loud.Fast forward to going to bed at night and being awaken by the guest next door at 6:30am with loud music that sounded as a DJ was in the hotel. Hotel security was called up and that must’ve been a joke. Because morning number 2 I and my 1 year old awaken by the same guest with the same loud disturbing music, and all the hotel staff could do was apologize.Staying at Dockside was definitely an experience from Hell and it did not seem like a vacation at all. I will definitely NOT be a returning guest to Dockside Hotel.F

We stayed in one of the suites for a fortnight and it was fantastic. The hotel was brand new, incredibly clean and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that could be improved was storage space, with only one small wardrobe and 3 drawers, but it worked for us.Buses to and from City Walk were quick and easy to use, and the I-Ride trolley was right outside, which was handy to access Icon Park and other places. We had read mixed reviews about the Pier 8 Market, but we enjoyed everything we bought. The Universal shop/Starbucks/bars in the lobby were also very handy. We will definitely be back.
