This clinic is fantastic! The staff is friendly, and the environment is clean and welcoming. A special shout out to Thomas, who is excellent at explaining everything he’s doing and takes great care of my dog, even when my dog isn't the easiest to handle. I highly recommend this clinic!

With short notice, I made an appointment at this clinic and their staff was just absolutely amazing! They were very gentle and loving to my puppy. Highly recommend to anyone in Orlando area.

5 stars only for the staff. Dr. Juan is a rude person and he forces you to take exams to get a prescription. Without exams, there is no prescription.
Also, my wife asked for a generic medication because it costs less and he said there is no generic, it doesn't exist.
We did our research and we found out that exist a generica medication....
It was a horrible experience, never again.

On short notice, I had to find a new vet and came to this place. I couldn't be happier; what a great place; the staff is excellent, and Thomas went above and beyond. Great customer service, we will be switching our dogs to this place.

I adopted a senior cat who was in really bad shape and hadn't used the litter box in 4 days since I got her. They helped restore her health in a holistic manner and now she is eating, drinking and using the litter box normally. They also gave me a free checkup since the cat was adopted. Thank you!

My Experience of Universal Animal Clinic for over 16 years was great when Dr Kahna who originally ran it was there and treated all 5 of my pets UNTIL Dr Colom took over. At this point our other dogs passed and our last beloved family member Charlie was our only Dog left .Our experiences with him were neglectful when he failed multiple times to evaluate my dogs deep lung infection and damaged trachea . This was due too malpractice with a used oversized breathing pipe for a larger breed during a multiple tooth removal on our last boy Charlie by an old family vets office of over 37 years . This place had a change of ownership there as well in the few years prior to 2020 during our visit there and while we stayed with my family we thought it best to go to a place we had a long history with for the best vet . Well as stated above it was a bad decision. However I visited DR Colom multiple times telling him EXACTLY what was wrong with my dog. All he kept doing over several visits was TREAT HIM FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE and he blamed all of the lung infection and trachea damage symptoms on the high BLOOD PRESSURE WHEN IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND AND IT WAS OBVIOUSLY THE PRIOR VETS INFECTING HIS LUNGS AND DAMAGING HIS TRACHEA THAT GAVE HIM THE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE . So during the 3 plus years we were desperate to help our Charlie his health spiraled downward and as a result of this we ran out of time to heal him and he died 7 years earlier than he should have . We feel that Dr Colom’s denial of the facts was more to NOT COMPROMISE a college rather than COMMITTING HIS LOYALTY TO LONG STANDING CLENTS LIKE US AND IS WORSE THAN SHAMEFUL , UNETHICAL AND UNSCRUPULOUS .So what else could we do ?We decided Before our Charlie passed in his last year we would try to switch vets to DR CALLAHAN not very far away . HIS PRACTICE WAS ALSO Occupied BY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WHO TRAUMATIZED HIM FURTHER AND INTUBATED HIM IRRESPONSIBLY TO CHARGE US almost $ 1000.00 ONLY TO TELL US WHAT WE ALREADY KNEW BUT NO SOLUTION FOR HIS LUNG INFECTION.WICH WAS WHY WE WERE THERE BUT INSTEAD WITH AN UNCONSCIOUS DOG THAT HAD A SLIGHT INFECTION BUT WAS IN GOOD CONDITION THEY THEN SENT US TO WHAT THEY SAID WAS THE BEST HOSPITAL OVER 3 hours away in Gainesville !!! Well another 3500.00 later and our boy being kept there unfed 2 days with a further option to solve what we told him he had for ANOTHER $ 2000.00 we were ignored for years on his issues that we informed these doctors about only for them to charge us repeatedly AFTER IT WAS TOO LATE FOR HIM . His death is due too them .

Universal Animal Clinic provided a fantastic experience! The staff is incredibly helpful, and their ability to provide quick and easy updates via email is a game-changer. The team is knowledgeable, and Dr. Colon is especially great. Overall, a positive experience with excellent service.

Dr. Colomb, Thomas and the entire staff are amazing. After going to and not being at all comfortable with a few vets in the area we came upon UAC. This was the best move we could have made. Our cat, Moshii was mis-diagnosed by someone else and Dr.Colomb quickly and accurately and compassionately got him into the correct treatment. We cannot speak highly enough or recommend enough, Dr. Colomb and UAC.

Amazing staff, excellent service to the community ! When your furry family member isn’t feeling well , you always want them to feel better as soon as possible . Every time we bring our Dog Teddy here , he leaves always feeling better than before. And has all the right things he needs to keep being a happy dog . Dr Colom helped our pup , by letting us know about a low fat diet , we will be forever grateful !
