Abraham and his two co-workers were a big help! I was running late due to my flight being delayed and they stayed late to ensure I got my equipment. They hooked me up, and gave great customer service. I appreciate them making the process as easy as possible.

Abraham was very kind and courteous. I appreciate him keeping my reservation despite me running 30+ minutes late. The U-haul store was busy, very clean, and well-stocked. Unfortunately, my experience with the truck was not so pleasant. Once I got in the 10' truck (small move and no vans were available), dashboard warnings indicated the passenger side door was ajar, the left rear tire pressure was low, and the engine needed to be checked. Since I was on a tight timeline, I didn't go back to make an issue of these indicators. I'm also aware that U-haul is known for loaning out vehicles with active warning lights, and mechanical and/or safety issues. Later in the evening, around 11 p.m., my iPhone alerted me that an Apple Air tag had been moving with me since noon. I had stopped earlier that day to grab something to eat in the vicinity of the U-haul dealer, so I thought someone could've planted the Airtag on the truck in an attempt to try and rob me later. Please note that the U-haul dealer is not in the nicest part of town. I tried to locate the air tag for about an hour but couldn't find it. The sounds seemed to be coming from the engine compartment behind the dash. As a result, I called the roadside assistance number to see if U-haul had installed an air tag in their vehicles to keep track of them. In a way, I couldn't see them doing this without letting the client know because of how alarming and disconcerting it could be to receive this type of alert on your phone. I'm a single woman, and it was 11 p.m., and I was in a budget hotel in the process of moving. I was definitely on high alert. The customer service representative working the roadside assistance number said she had received a call like this before from another single woman and would do her best to help me resolve this issue. She got in contact with me about 15 minutes later and stated that she was told that the particular location I rented from does this since it's located in a high-crime area. No kidding. I thought it was remiss for them not to mention this to me during check-out. I've used U-haul for years but will NOT continue to do so. They obviously don't care about the safety of their customers or value their customer's time. I wasted so much time dealing with the Air tag issue. Earlier that day, I had to extend my reservation because the U-Haul Moving Help add-on couldn't accommodate me despite accepting the job order on my reservation. I called to extend my reservation and was charged an extra day. The customer service representative said verbatim, "It's not our fault the movers did not show." Then why did they accept my moving help job request on your website? The goal was to get the truck turned in 7 hours, but when I asked for an extension, I was met with "you should've just reserved it for 24 hours" by the customer. service phone representative. It would've been nice to have been told this information from the outset i.e., "You will be charged another day if you need it more than 7 hours." Just seems shady and predatory. What a horrible experience.

My husband rentented a trailer and we endend up having to extend our rental for a week, turned out this employee named VINNY or VINNIE extended our contract until the end of the month with no AUTHORIZATION puting a hold on my card for 701 dollars!!! This made my financial life a chaos! My husband was on the road at the time and this money was for his daily road trip!!! The manager did nothing to except say sorry.

I was rented the largest truck with a very short ramp. I called and was told no other trucks were available but they would "note it in my account". I struggled through the move and upon returning the truck I asked if something could be done for me. The staff knew my truck number just by me describing the ramp issue. They have been renting it out knowing it has a problem. "The manager isn't in today, leave your number and he will call you." Waited a week or so and tried calling, emailing, and contacting uhaul support. It has now been one month and have heard nothing. Will never use this location again.

Both gentleman that were working on 7/15/23 were professional and courteous. Despite being shorthanded they handled the customers before me as quickly as they could, I was impressed.Return could not have been easier. dropped of the trailer and away I went. no muss no fuss. thank you again for a perfect experience.

I was charged $305 because they are incompetent and didn’t want to do there jobs. Talking about I didn’t put gas back and I didn’t return their keys all because no one took the time to check to make sure. I would never use them again

The general store manager Luis is very racist, unprofessional and aggressive. I was denied a truck because me license was word for word “ not shiny enough “. He disregarded the fact that I am an Army veteran which was stated on my license and threaten to call the cops on me if I did not leave the store. He is unfit for this position because he has no customer service nor problem solving skills .

What is the point of mobile check in online to have the app tell you go straight to the truck. Only to be stopped an have to be re checked in all over again. Either staff doesn't know how it works or the company is advertising falsely online

I can’t say enough about my recent experience with Vince and the team at U-Haul on West colonial. His commitment to excellence, and execution, was a game changer for me. When my truck reservation was canceled, Vince acknowledged that the error was made by him. He acted with the urgency to correct the situation while reminding me of the companies no-show policy. He was respectful, urgent, and positive throughout the entire experience. Furthermore, I informed Vince that his excellence and customer service is a highly sought after skill, I would sweep him away, and hire him as a customer service supervisor/trainer in an instant. Vince, you were an Angel sent at a very unsteady moment for me—thank you!

Never left a review before but Trevino and the other staff were so helpful and nice I didn’t really have a choice not to.Super thoughtful, let me know super early my equipment was ready ahead of time. Walked through everything to make sure I was good to go before a long trip. Just good people.

Worse customer service ever! They recently changed manager and the new one is rude and the customer service isn't there. I felt like I was bothering him. No one acknowledged me when I walked in the door and I had to wait over 20 minutes before anyone spoke to me. I only stayed because I couldn't find a truck at the last minute.Definitely won't come back.

Shout out to miss Geneva Johnson for being courteous, friendly and professional. Her good attitude made my experience far better than I expected. Also, this location is better than the car dealership near the stadium that I rented from last time.

Dirty vans the owner is unprofessional, he says he doesn’t need your business, he will cancel your reservation because he rather give the van to his buddies. Vans are all damage and he will try to charge you for damage you didn’t do even after you have pictures. Do not waste your time here drive the extra 3 to 5 minutes to the next u haul store
