Has only been a couple months but already they’ve ticked many boxes my previous bank did not. They’re also very attentive to me personally and happy/cordial

If you are tired of being a number and remember the days where people knew your name and gave you great service, this is your bank.

Very disappointing. I applied for a mortgage with them in December. The commercial banker Jim Poole never responded to my multiple emails and voice messages even after I spent a whole Saturday morning gathering documentation. It has been over a month and the guy is MIA. I even emailed the bank manager in Altamonte last week and he failed to respond. Very sorry customer service.

I disagree completely with the negative review of this branch. When it came time for me to open a new bank account, I chose Trustco because they had far fewer fees than the larger banks. Since I joined, I've had an extremely positive experience. Manny, the VP who the other reviewer felt was condescending, has been gracious to me every time I've been in the bank. Even though I am just a working class guy who lives from paycheck to paycheck, and whole only keeps a little bit of money in my account at a time, Manny treated me as if my business were very important to the bank. And when I come in to make a deposit, he asks me how I'm doing and shakes my hand. The other reviewer seemed horrified that Trustco lends money to other banks. Trustco's business model is very up-front, and they don't hide anything. Larger banks make money on fees. Trustco makes their money from interest on lending so that they do not have to charge fees. Your money is still safe, and it is FDIC insured. I do not have to maintain a minimum balance. And, there is almost never a long line at the teller. I plan to keep Trustco for my personal banking as long as I live in Orlando. I don't regret the choice for a second.

I opened a personal account and a business account. I was annoyed and alerted the credit bureaus after Manny the "VP" attached an old address to my account from old articles of incorporation and trustco had been mailing my account information to an old address. Their online services were below par and I could not manage money between accounts. While opening the accounts Manny, the "VP", was very impatient and condescending. 1 month later cleared out the account and left them. 8 months later I decided to give them a second chance and open a new business account for a new business. Manny once again was condescending and suspiciously asked for the only document that I didn't bring. I've opened other business bank accounts before and one at the same branch and they never asked for that document. I was in shorts and a tee shirt I'm pretty sure Manny discriminated against me. Little did he know that my $8,500 deposit went to the regions back around the corner? Oh and I called suntrust bank too and they don't require the document that Manny said he need to open the account. Terrible and ghetto branch, I do not recommend Trustco bank.
