About a year ago they changed AC on my husbands’ honda civic, claimed it was new parts and everything charged over $1500. It blew out less than a year later, smoke started coming out of the hood, had to call AAA, tow it to a mechanic, upon inspection- the parts were not new and in fact on it’s last leg. Despicable to lie and put others life in danger. Do not trust them, they use faulty/secondhand parts!!
Adding: they now claim my review is false. They never said anything about warranty, and the fact is the parts they claimed to change broke after a year putting our family’s life in danger and causing us another $2k for tow and fix.

The only reason I give them 3 stars is base on a recent experience. My passengers side parking lights was out. It seems water was entering it and I had to change the whole assembly light. I went there feeling confident as one time I had taken my car for what I consider a much bigger issue and the owner who checked me in called me that it would be about $268, I thought perfect. So I felt this shouldn’t be that expensive. The owner was not in, they had a young guy, who per our conversation had just started working there 3 months ago. I ask if he could bring the mechanic to come see what I will probably need. At first he hesitated until I insisted. The mechanic came out , a friendly soft spoken Asian man and said yes they can do that. I went back in with the young man, he started looking on line, than told me with parts and service $868! Now the young guy is not Asian, so no confusion in what I heard. Plus I repeated the quote, if I had heard wrong he would’ve corrected me. I told him “ No. “ I headed to the Montalvo Brothers ( highly recommend) they told me they couldn’t do that, but gave me advice. I order the part it was all under $200.00. I don’t want to give bad reviews to Tokyo Auto Service, but I need them to be aware that I do not trust the young man they recently hire, perhaps he just needs better training.

I love coming here. I may be biased because these guys are my uncles, but they've always taken care of all my car needs and explained my options in such a respectful and empowering way. That reminds me, I need to schedule a tune-up!

I just purchased a Toyota that I've always wanted, they gave me a diagnosis and a list of maintenance that the truck needed, I'm confident that this will be a great relationship with this shop going forward with the life of my vehicle.They showed me everything they listed. Tokyo Auto Service has been fixing and maintaining our 3 cars for a few years. We love Twan and his family. They are experienced, honest, and thorough. We are very thankful we have found a mechanic we can trust in Orlando. If you're thinking about purchasing a new/used car, ask him the best year and model before you buy. He also does a vehicle inspection on a car you're considering purchasing or have recently purchased. Excellent service, affordable pricing and peace of mind???
