Fun, whimsical cards and gifts! All of the artwork in this store is hand cut by local artists and digitalized onto different products such as greeting cards and luggage tags. Each piece has a fun story and is perfect for someone looking to purchase something different than the normal Walmart stationary. You can purchase items from R. Nichols either in their small brick and mortar store or through their website and have the items sent directly to you. The staff at R. Nick Hanzlik, artist and founder of The R. Nichols Shop, has a beautiful collection of paper collage designs for cards, stationaries, and other items like travel luggage tags. The R. Nichols Shop stands out with the artist’s focus on handmade paper collage turned art prints. Check his Instagram “nickhanzlikworld”, his webpage and Facebook to browse his collages! Support a local artist!
The shop feels like a mini art gallery too. The paper collage artwork is intricate with clean lines and a bold color schemes. The greeting cards make a perfect gift too because the design would look great on a frame as decoration. The cards are too pretty to be shoved into a box! There’s many different themed designs like cherry blossoms, food, taxi cars, animals, cities, and many more.
The R. Nichols Shop’s collages will make you cheer up wanting to cheer someone up, because something may just remind you of that special someone! If you’re not much of the artistic type but wish you were, then you’ll especially appreciate the collages here too. If you’re a tourist in Orlando, you’ll definitely want to get a souvenir at R. Nichol’s. There were other collages on cities like his hometown Washington DC, which he mentioned.
I bought a pagoda print luggage tag to add to my friend’s graduation gift, since I already had a card. I’d still find this shop excellent for non-Hallmark generic cards and stationaries!
He sells his items at Epcot too, if I recall correctly. Overall, amazing beautifully crafted paper collages!
