I also had a tight timeline as I needed to be out of my apartment by a specific date. Even though the seller was dragging their feet, Octavia and Ashley took control of what they could and made sure we closed on time. Their dedication and attention to detail made the process so much smoother.

We went with Ashley at The Real Deal after reading her raving reviews, and we couldn't have made a better choice
Our initial meeting included a PowerPoint presentation to set expectations and go over the process step by step. This level of transparency set the stage and considering we had not experienced this with previous agents, we were impressed!
Home Search Phase:
Octavia was our showing agent, and we deeply appreciate her time and dedication. We narrowed our list of homes down to about 7 and we immediately knew that house number one was the one. We wanted to be certain before we put in an offer and Octavia took the time to show us the rest of the homes on our list.
Offer and Negotiation Phase:
After we put in the offer, we learned that the sellers had built a pergola without HOA approval or permits. This structure was a significant selling point for us, and Ashley ensured it was added as a contract contingency. Just two business days before closing, the seller's agent informed us that the pergola was still pending HOA approval. With her experience and expertise, we identified a workaround to protect ourselves from financial impacts and she quickly negotiated with the seller's agent and added an addendum to the contract, giving us peace of mind. Ultimately, the pergola was approved, but we felt secure knowing our interests were legally protected.
Inspection Phase:
Octavia was with us on inspection day and was a great sounding board as there were significant settlement cracks that needed to be fixed. Ashley skillfully negotiated the repair of the cracks in addition to having already secured 3% towards closing costs, and a $5,000 reduction in price.
Closing Phase:
On closing day, Ashley and Octavia were present for the final walk through and graciously gifted us a Blackstone grill and Tiffany champagne glasses. We were stunned and incredibly grateful! During signing, Ashley was present and answered any questions that came up and even contacted the lender to clarify some of the loan terms.
I could not recommend this team any more highly! If you are looking to buy a home, you won't go wrong with The Real Deal!
