I want to start by saying that the rooms were great. Check in went smoothly we went into the bar ordered hands down one of the best Americano's I've ever had.
Later, we ordered some not so great apps off of the room tablet. Bbq chicken Flatbread that wasn't completely cooked through. Followed by a very dry and not so creamy buratta. The skin was so hard to break.
After coming in later that night from a concert. We literally stepped out of our Uber and a stranger approached us. He asked us "Are you staying at the Hotel here"? We could smell the alcohol on his breath. He proceeded to say, "I can walk you into the garage, I'm the OWNER".
I grabbed my daughter and went straight into the lobby and spoke with the night clerk. Who by the way, made us both feel like this not a big deal. I gave a description of this man and said too, that he had a distinctive limp. So, she said that she was going to notify security and we went upstairs. Sadly we went from feeling safe to not wanting to leave this place after dark.
The next day I spoke to someone else downstairs, only to find that the man who approached us was a manager and a relative of the owner. She gave me the number of someone to actually call. Unfortunately I misplaced that number. This also didn't make us feel any safer.
The following day, when we checked out. That same man was at the front desk and I swear my stomach went into my throat. He was full of apologies. I don't know how mamy times he said he was sorry. Apparently he had a relative pass recently. Well, ok. I get it. I've lost relatives. Both of my parents. I miss them every stinkin day. However, conducting one's self at a place of buisness, where there is ALCOHOL being served, drinking in excess like that. and approaching women where it's dark?
It's unprofessional, period. We just didn't feel safe after dark. Yes, he offered to comp our meals even though it was two apps and a coffee? Shame on him. What else is there to say.

The staff was so polite and helpful. Rooms are so spacious and love the tablet to order things. They even have the small cube ice which we have at home. We have been there 2 times now and this last visit the dinning was amazing.

We came for the second time and they treated us very well! It felt like we were being welcomed back like family. The manager was super helpful in getting our bags upstairs. He gave us all sunglasses to make the birthday trip fun, just a very small thing but a nice gesture. The room was big, plenty of room to get ready for our dinner. The beds are comfy. The design is modern and minimal. Great location. Will continue to return for all my Orlando weekend getaways!
Rooms: Spacious. Well done rooms. Comfy beds. Clean. Very clean!!!!
Safety: Seems like a perfect spot. The parking garage was small and seemed very safe

Just want to share my experience with my stay. Nate was a great person of helping with everything that was asked or needed at the time being. “I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service.” You can tell that the entire team were in harmony for the visitors. Great way to show that working together as team can take you to a different element of work.
Rooms: very clean and well maintained
Nearby activities: you just have to search for what your looking for
Safety: felt safe at all times
Walkability: everything is at walking distance
Food & drinks: they have an amazing menu within the hotel

This hotel was such a great surprise. If you book through their website the parking is free, the check in process was simple and quick. We stayed two nights and the room and bathroom were amazing. They use an iPad for anything you need during your stay (you can request service, toiletries, see times for food, etc). The room had a deadbolt and a flip security lock which is such a great feature for rooms. Smart TVs and an amazing bed. We will definitely be coming back for all of our Orlando stays from now on

Nice place, rooms are clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Tavern has great food and the drinks are yummy. Will come back again for sure. Note: This hotel is across from ORMC we had a room right on the road. It was a little noisy at first but surprisingly went quiet later in the evening, We didn't mind and slept great on there comfy beds.

As a frequent traveler, I have encountered my fair share of hotel experiences. However, my recent stay at The Delaney has been, by far, the worst.
We only chose this hotel because it was a short drive to the arena as we were in town to attend a concert. Parking was adequate, as was the room. The real issue starts when we checked out.
I unfortunately left behind 2 black bags with clothes and belongings in the room. We didn't realize this until that night. Once we realized this, we immediately called the hotel. We explained the situation and the staff seemed disinterested and dismissive, informing me that they would 'look into it.' After waiting for hours with no update, I contacted them again. They kept brushing me off and informed me they would contact the 'cleaning manager' to investigate. They finally reached back out to me to let me know that the staff did in fact see the bags but said the bags were trash. In no way, shape or form would those bags be confused with trash. After telling me this, they said the bags were nowhere to be found. The hotel management, of course, reluctant to admit fault, won't admit that their cleaning staff stole my bags. Now I have to file a police report and try to pursue compensation.
The lack of security and blatant disregard for guest privacy at The Delaney is appalling. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this establishment at all costs. The staff is dishonest and untrustworthy, and your belongings are not safe in their hands. If you have the misfortune of experiencing a similar incident, do not hesitate to report it to the authorities and seek legal action. Hotels have a duty to protect their guests and their property. When they fail to do so, they must be held accountable.
Edit: I am adding this here because they replied to the Expedia review my wife left but not here since you can't edit Expedia reviews. They tried to hide the fact their employees are thieves by saying "due to the condition of the room". The only thing dirty in the room was the beds not being made, a guise apparently to cover up the thievery. No proof, no photos, nothing. Funny, the only thing they "found" was 2 CDs. Mind you, the CDs were in the same bag with ALL the other belongings. Of course, they grabbed everything of value and left that. Nice try, Delaney.

The cleaning crew stole from our room and lied about it. They didn’t even try to fix the situation, they brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal about stealing and throwing away personal belongs.
