Her appointments are always on time, never overbooked or overpriced like most places these days. She listens, gets to know you personally to you understand your needs and hair goals. I recently had the most disappointing experience with Damarys. before the appointment I read all the good comments, and I was referred to the salon for an excellent person, so I had high expectancies, and I was very excited to go there BUT the experience was terrible. I went in with high hopes of getting a fresh new look but unfortunately, Damarys was rude, insensitive, bitter and unprofessional. I was asking her opinion regarding the haircut and color but the interaction with her was very unpleasant. My perception was that she was upset for doing my hair. Initially she offered highlights but shortly after she changed her mind and told me she can do just half of the highlights because she had no time for me. She told me "I squeezed you on my busy calendar" when I never told her to overbook herself for me. I was waiting for the appointment for almost one month and I thought she will have the time to do her recommendations and complete the job (I wasn't told if she spent the first 5 minutes given an advice then the job can't be completed). Damarys may be very talent BUT definitively, at least with me, she demonstrated zero compassion, kindness or empathy. What is the point of the purpose in life of having skills if you can't be nice with others.... NOP I won't recommend going there! but it was just my experience. Hopefully it is not the same for others. I just left without having anything done.

This is my first time coming back to a beauty Salon it has been 2years since I have gone to one because the last one wasn’t so Good. I have came to Florida to visit my mom and I wanted to do something new to my hair for the pictures later on for my birthday but, the service here in amazing and very welcoming to people . They are very organized people as well and kind and treat you good , they always check up on you, and I would love to come back again when I come back from Florida and be here again definitely would recommend it here at “ The Beauty Box Salon” in Orlando Florida I will recommend honestly a 5 Star from me I love the results

When I moved to Orlando a few years ago, I was worried I would have a difficult time finding a hair stylist. Stephanie was highly recommended by my coworkers and she has been cutting my hair ever since. Stephanie has always done a great job cutting my hair and never over cuts it. I really enjoy our talks and can’t recommend her enough. Its reservation only so there never more than one customer in the shop with us and its nice and quiet - relaxing even. Go and get your cut with Stephanie, you won’t regret it. In addition, my long hair layered cut is also affordable.

My hair has always been tricky because it’s super thin, so I’ve never trusted many people to cut my hair. Since moving to Orlando, I was forced to find a salon and I went for the first time today. Stephanie did an AMAZING JOB! She got what I wanted exactly right the first time and even worked with my schedule since I’m balancing life with a newborn. So happy to have found my new salon. I have been going to Damarys since 2012. I have never been disappointed. She used to do my keratin treatments, she helped me prepare my hair for my wedding in 2015. Most recently she cut and colored my hair. I have curly hair and have tried many places, but The Beauty Box is the best.

I’m new to the area and was looking for a new hair salon. Beauty Box had great reviews, and for a reason! Damarys was able to make sense of the multiple inspo pictures I had and transformed my hair with beautiful highlights and long layers. The price was more than reasonable for the quality work. Just be aware they’re pretty booked (which I took as a good sign that they’re in demand) so you’ll want to call 3-4 weeks ahead of when you want to book an appointment. Thank you Damarys, I look forward to my next appointment!
