The storms may come and the lights go out, however my natural gas flows uninterrupted.It is dependable and economical. It costs 60% less than electricity. If you find a house with natural gas then you have a real money saving bonus.The gas company gives cash rebates when you purchase a new gas appliance, water heater, or central gas heat. Apply on the website.People with the one star reviews should be thankful for the savings they get with natural gas. An all electric house comes with a high electric bill. I pay my bill on time and have no need to call customer service..

This people are double dipping!!!! I pay them my monthly bill and I got my confirmation that I pay my bill via text and is showing on my account that I own them $$$, I'm trying to call them and guess what? I'm on hold 30+ minutes. I am super mad!!!!

There's a reason Teco has terrible reviews across the board, and ALL of them have to do with their customer service department. They know that if your home/neighborhood runs on natural gas that you are stuck with them as your only provider, so there is ZERO incentive to care at all about any issue you may have.It's a shame, because their technicians are top notch and super friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist. But good luck getting them to your home, since customer service will find ANY reason to deny helping you despite you being a paying customer with their company.

Worst service ever I set my bills online please tell me how a one person living in a one bedroom unit bill is 138 dollars I went to check it again after I payed it it went up. I’ve lived in Atlanta my bill there was less then 50 a month. I don’t use heat I don’t need it here. I only was dishes like once a blue moon I’m single I wash my clothes in cold water . I only use the shower you really rob people blind on bill payments . I wish I was back in Atlanta for electric and gas as a single person my bill should reach up to 50.00 max not 138. !!!!!

Firstly, you have to wait an hour just to get someone on the phone. Secondly, they turned off my gas for NO REASON. i called and asked them why it was turned off, both people i talked to said that they can't figure out why and it was "just an error". i requested this to be fixed, the representative showed up at 11 pm and left a note saying that he couldn't turn it back on because we didn't answer the door. 11 pm?????? i called the next day to say that my problem hasn't been fixed and they ask me to wait at home all day because they can't make an appointment with me and don't know when someone will be out here. having gas is nice, but in my next home i will specifically avoid it in an effort to avoid teco gas.

This is the worst company ever. My services was disconnected after I made payment arrangements with them so I end up paying the rest of the bill, and I was told that the mistake was on my end, and since it was on my end, they cannot come out the same day and restore my services but if it was their mistake, then they will be able to come on the same day to restore my services, so now I am left with no gas until the next day, and I have three children. The the young lady from customer service was very rude and no help at all.

Not even 12 hours with the company and I already own 3 months of service without previous notice. no mails, no emails, no phone calls that said that I own this company, and I just moved here a month ago, it gets worst when they could not give me a balance of those 3 months; it could be 700 dollars for somebody else used and I still have to pay for whoever used it before. They take advantage of their awful service because they are the only ones around my area. I am scared, terrified, afraid of having to use this service. When I call CS they take 40 minutes to pick up the phone and when they final answer they yell at you like you were a child. I WILL RATE THIS COMPANY WITH ZERO STARS IF I COULD

The way they have their phone system set up, it's difficult to get an agent on the phone. They want to force you to use the automated service. I never have been disconnected. The amount to reconnect same day is offensive, especially during these times.

Installing new gas line in our neighborhood. When hey came you our house no communication with us just installed a new meter about 5 ft away from the pipe into the house. I now have a 5 ft pipe that runs along the side of my house under a window into the house. We where told the new install would be the same or better how the hell is this better I have a 5ft eye sore running along my house now! Not the only one in my neighborhood that is not happy.

We previously had gas at our home in Panama city florida before the hurricane Michael, we have been remodeling and cant move back into our home t we have gas. We requested Tecos gas to turn the gas back on and have been waiting for 4 weeks. We continue to pay rent at our rental....100 dollars a day.We will likely be out of our home another Christmas, not because of a contrator just a gas company.Everyone told me the Panama City area was bought by a company down South and ever since customer service sucks.It is 100 percent true . I guess you can do anything when you have a monopoly.2 thumbs down..wait 8 thumbs down my child and wife agree.

I’m moving just so I don’t have to continue allowing this company to steal from me.That alone should say a lot.June was my first month with the company. I agreed to do half of the deposit and then the other half with my first bill.In January 2021 I received a normal bill of $34; I was late on my payment and did have a late fee; which I was aware of and okay with. When I came back to my account my bill was $220!!I immediately called the company because hello that’s a HUGE difference. They basically told me that my payment from MY FIRST MONTH OF SERVICE never went through and got returned. Which is false; also I highly doubt a company would provide services for 6 months without having a security deposit and connection fee paid.Not only did they make me repay my first bill (yes including connection fee and security deposit) they charged me with multiple return fees and could not even provide me documentation of any kind.They blamed my bank and would not allow me any sort of credit they did not offer any help or returns. This was the 2nd time something like this happened to me.The first time it happened I changed my bank and though maybe that was the reason for such confusion however after receiving my bill in January I realized this company cannot be trusted!I paid my first bill 2 times I paid 2 security deposits and I paid 2 connection fees. Plus return fees.After being so “helpful” they said I can no longer have my account on auto pay because of the late payments and return fees that they “found”. I expressed to them that since it was their mistake I should not have to physically go to Amscot to pay my bill every month.They refused to help me; I expressed that I am a single full time working mom and have too many responsibilities to remember that I need to go pay my bill. Again refused to help.I’m tired of having my money stolen from me. This company disgusts me the way they leech off of their customers knowing there are not many or in my case ANY other options for a gas company.Literal trash.

Been with teco for ten years. I call because I paid 3/4 of my bill but need Dec 21. I told her I paid remain balance 6am in the morning online services. She told me I have until Dec 20 and will be disconnected. I told her my paycheck release to my account Dec 21 she told me she can't help me. I was willing to pay late fee just give me Friday. No solution.

0 stars. Worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. 1st day they came out to set-up service they sent a Technician out who was rude and unprofessional. The Tech made countless excuses from a bad knee to some boxes in the way, why he could not complete the set-up. After we moved the boxes and apologized for our water heater being too low to the ground we ask the Tech to please finish. He complained he was already there too long which was only 10 minutes for him to only return back inside for another 10 and become so fustrated with the equipment he damaged it to a point of not working. I asked the Tech not to leave without addressing the issuse when he ran to his vehicle and started to igrore me. I then asked for another Tech to come out for a second look which he said that won't happen. I asked to call a superviser to work out the problem, He told me no superviser was available and left, never ever made a call or reached out to someone else in front of me. After a call was made back to Teco for help from our end, the superviser said he just talk to the Tech on the phone(Witch proves the Tec lied) and told us it was our problem! I told him the tech was rude and I didnt think the gas line was left properly due to the fact I could still smell gas. I asked to have another Tech come out just to check and he said "NO". I told him if he would not send someone out I would have to call the Fire dept, he laughed at me and said "go right ahead." This is just wrong!Tech was TImSuperviser was DouglasWhen Gas compains act like this, poeple lose lives! Look what happen in Massachusetts just last year alone!

No care for the paying customers that pay this company’s workers and keep them around! They did not want to help or find a way to get our gas turned back on after our home extermination. They said their last appointment was at 4pm they came at 3pm and the exterminators were doing there last walk through to make sure air quality was safe. They did not care to wait even 5 minutes for them to finish. They stated that there was nothing that they could do and they will not wait. They told me “call and set up an appointment for Monday morning cause that is all we can do.” Today is Friday just so you understand my frustration. We now have to wait till Monday and can’t be in our home for another 2 days because the TECO worker was not willing to work with us and wait 5 MINUTES! What a terrible company... terrible customer service. I’m disappointed and disgusted. If you have a choice do not choose TECO. What ever happened to make the paying customer happy? THIS COMPANY WOULD NOT HAVE JOBS IF IT WASN'T FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!!
