Overpriced. Nice vets. But they have upped prices on meds this year. The receptionist wouldn't honor last year's price. It was a $9 increase. I assume this will be happening every year.

Dr. Hawkins was amazing with our cat. Titus was having stomach issues. Dr. Hawkins took her time with Titus who really doesn't like going to the doctor, but with South Orlando Animal Hospital Titus is chill and relaxed like at no other Vet. Thank You Dr. Hawkins & Dr. Finnell for being wonderful Vets and Really caring about the animals you treat. Thanks You!

I cannot express enough how amazing my experience with south Orlando animal Hospital has been. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive Dr. Horton Marissa and her assistant is exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate, treating my pet with the utmost care and expertise. They took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment options and answered all my questions patiently. I felt confident and reassured that my Baby Maple Catalina was in the best hands. The follow-up care and support have been outstanding as well. I highly recommend to anyone seeking top-notch veterinary care.

Terrible office, bunch of thieves. My parents paid almost $1K for their dog’s blood work and running tests and were told the dogs were fine yet days later they are vomiting and pooping blood. The vet says my parents have to pay another $300/400 to get the dogs rechecked.

The receptionist Kathy is EXTREMELY insensitive and rude. Our beloved dog we’ve had for 14 years is nearing the end of her life. We called to obtain more information on the process of putting her to sleep as we have never gone through this before. She had the NERVE to mention our dog’s heart medication was never refilled. FIRST OF ALL, we did refill it at another vet. This was NONE of her business. I was crying in the passenger seat going thought this very difficult time as my husband is the one who made the call and to hear her speak about a medication refill that NO ONE asked her about is beyond insensitive and unbelievable. I don’t know if she is already just jaded and numb to euthanizing pets since she works there, but she must do better. This was NOT acceptable.

South Orlando Animal Hospital has been taking care of me and all my animals over the past three and a half decades. I love each and every staff member and the veterinarians. They are professional, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable, and experts in their field helping me through many usual and unusual animal adventures in healthcare. My last pup had a stroke near the end of her life followed by pancreatic failure and then requiring home blood sugar checking and insulin dosing. Dr Finnell would call me in the afternoon and help me adjust her doses whenever I needed and kept track of them in his office each time I would send them in over her last 6 months. When my son's dog was over and had a mishap, they squeezed me right in on a full schedule to take care of the issue. I can't say enough about the care they take of both me and my animals. They are absolutely the best ever.
