Was told to come there before 1pm so I made the drive and arrived at 12. Nobody answered. I was literally told to come Before 1pm. The food assistance service is for ppl struggling to survive, to eat, the least you can do is have whoever answers the phone to know the correct times. I traveled very far to come here. Really let down.

You get 7 days free they start charging you $10 a night after that. Can't bring a single bag in the building. The same goes for pillows or sheets of your own as well as bottled water of anything. You can only access your belongings 3 hours out of the day. Curfew is 6pm. You can't come back in until 4pm. The shower area wide open with divider. Feels a lot like jail

I went there to get through probation, but ended up with a Master's Barber License. They also paid my first month rent on my apartment, but if they had given me the apartment in a better area like they had promised I would not have had to sell drugs.

The check in at 4 P.M. with the shift leaders, dinner is at 5 P.M. and it's not just a little food it a full coarse meal plus all you can eat desert, showers gear at 6 P.M., and bed after that. Out back you chit chat and all is well.

Have been waiting for the assistance for the rent and energy payments. Have go over to get the help and the lady is always busy and working with the month before still waiting for the call since August.

Can only stay 1 month. Breakfast and dinner provided. Good staff and security. I was there Christmas 2022 didn't have any problems.

Anybody that's trying to get on their feet and get their life together the Salvation Army for the homeless is not the place to be they do not help you at all they're full of s*** is only one person in there that works in the front desk he is a great dude with a beautiful heart he helps as much as possible as he can but for everybody else in there they don't help you try to succeed or move forward at all that is not the place to be
