I have had this excellent tattoo shop in my rotation since the day they opened. This place is owned by, and only employs, some of the heaviest hitters in the game, regardless of what tattoo style you prefer. I’ve gotten traditional, black and grey, drawn on filler pieces, lettering, and more, from at least four different artists at this shop, and I’ve never had anything even close to a bad experience. Run, don’t walk here, for your next consultation for your next custom piece, or make a day of getting small walk-ins with a friend. 10/10 recommend.

The baseline for Rise Above starts at cleanliness, professionalism and talented artists. I’ve had 2 pieces done by 2 separate artists and each have been perfect and I plan to return for more. Response time and actual tattooing process is A+Services: Tattoo cover-ups & reworkings

I have gotten tattoos at this absolute gem of a spot by half a dozen different artists over the years, and I've never been let down, had a canceled appointment, or a bad time. The owners make sure to have a stacked deck of professional artists that all have different strengths, and one of my favorite parts about this place is the calm confidence. If a friend refers you to X artist, you consult with him or her, and they tell you another artist there would crush the idea better than them, they mean it, because they just want you to get the best piece possible. Stuff like that goes a long way with me, you know, honesty?

My wife and I traveled from TN and both got tattooed by Jason Vaughn at Rise Above and had an A+ experience. Booking was a breeze and Jason nailed the designs! He tattoos VERY quickly and was great throughout the whole process. Between my wife and I we’ve been tattooed by many different artists and different shops and were very pleased with our experience here. Bobby is a phenomenal tattoo artist. I came to him and explained that I wanted a tattoo that was in honor of my grandmother who loved magnolias and hummingbirds, the placement of it and with a few prototype examples he made it unique and special with his amazing drawing skills.Bobby is friendly and highly sought after as an experienced tattoo artist for more then 23 years. He makes you feel comfortable and knows when you're feeling uncomfortable with the process to allow for breaks and usage of numbing cream.I highly recommend Bobby at Rise Above Tattoos for your next tattoo!Service: Tattoos

Rise above is best and only shop I will go to. The owners are awesome and so nice! I’ve gotten tattooed by everyone there and they’re all amazing! I recently got a traditional rose by Bobby. Let me tell you, Bobby has the BEST customer service. I usually work late and he accommodated me and fit me into his schedule no problem. His lines are clean he takes his time. Jessica (Hammy) did my first two tattoos at this place and I love them. Overall, there are some great artists, but their professionalism is lacking. I’ve actively been trying to communicate with Bobby for over a year because his art is exactly what I want for my tattoo and initially, I didn’t hear from him because of personal circumstances in his life. A couple of months ago I filled out a form on the website and was referred to him, yet again. I have yet to hear back and it really irks me mainly because I would pay money for the art. Also, because there’s no harm in saying you can’t do it or refer me to elsewhere. So, that’s my only issue. I had two tattoos done of my childrens names, and I got my sister one too. they did it as a walk in and very nice people. I love the work they did. Will definitely be returning. I didn’t really like the J’s to much but he did as I asked and made it look good.
