This College Park Publix on Edgewater is the most unfriendly one I've ever been to. None of the employees greet you, they snap at you, are not helpful, and they all seem miserable and treat you like you're in the way. The customers here are the worst too. Everyone just seems very annoyed and unhappy. No one exchanges any pleasantries, not even a nod. It's so depressing and odd, like you're in the Twilight Zone. I've gone here 3 times since it's the closest one to me now but I will never go here again. I will go to the one on Fairbanks where it's pleasant like Publix usually is. Even Walmart is more pleasant, and that's saying a lot. :(

Generally this is a good Publix however, I have ordered subs online several times & they are never ready by their own estimate. Usually 10-15 minutes late so faster to just order it in person.

Everyone here really makes our day when we stop by. I'd like to mention a few names that made today great. Janice was giving out samples of roasted chicken and was so friendly and constantly smiling as always. Marcie was so nice when we checked out. And our usual cashier ( she's usually in the express registers and her name slipped my mind and I apologize ) even went out of her way to say hello to us and gave me two rainbow stickers!!!! I love ANY reason to stop in here. I don't remember the bagboys name but he was Also really friendly. Thank you!!!!!!!

Sadly, the service has greatly gone downhill here and it is now the rudest service I’ve ever received. A perfect example of this is my last experience with them: I questioned why my long standing prescription went up in price by almost 3 times (originally $10, now $29). Every time I was given a reason that I disputed, I was then given another reason that contradicted the previous ones. Finally, I was told they were going to work on it and to come back. I did some shopping, came back, and the pharmacist changed my prescription to name brand, which now increased the price to $75. I questioned this, as the whole reason I was told to come back was to try and make it less expensive, not dramatically more expensive, and the pharmacist was very rude and snapped at me that that’s what she told me to come back for, which didn’t make sense at all. I ask if I can at least have my $29 prescription, and at this point the pharmacist stopped talking to me, just turned to the tech and told him to tell me to come back in two more hours, because she was going to lunch. Keep in mind, this is all in front of me, as if I ceased to exist. When I finally get my original generic prescription, now I’m told it’ll be $36! And, when I ask about this, and express my frustration at the whole debacle, I’m then berated by the tech who goes on to raise his voice and interrupt me every time I speak. I already have to have pharmaceuticals in order to function, I don’t need a side of nastiness to go with that.

Great staff, and most of the Technicians, are well versed helping to aid the pharmacy, so that your meds, are taken care of , along with Dr Rob .?????He is kind, and works very hard, to keep all the prescriptions ready for you ! ????Great service and quite pleasant Dr and his Staff to help with your needs, always ??

I ordered a sub at the deli today and I want y’all to know that Vivaldi took my order and bless his heart! It ended up being a little complicated and he had trouble understanding me (I’m losing my voice due to allergies ?). He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It’s his first day but he did so well and was so nice! I will definitely come back to order from him!

(11/18/2021) ordered some cookie platters for a work function. Wanted lots of variety. On the morning of, got a call that supply chain issues meant they didn't have any of the flavors I wanted for the Gourmet cookie platter. We understand the it's been rough with supplies lately. I would have liked a heads up a little earlier than the morning of, I placed my order over a week in advance. Also, the cookies I got weren't necessarily "gourmet." Ingredients-wise, I feel cheated out of the cost (macadamia nut that I ordered vs. peanut butter that I got).

Both the store and assistant manager We're not available to discuss a concern with product selection. Just crazy how I'm not able to speak with anyone as I was told they were busy at the customer service desk?!?!

I have always liked the unique style of this particular Publix. Very retro and cool and fits the neighborhood vibe quite well. I am also a fan of Publix in general, whether it has this cool retro look or not. Publix has built itself into the best supermarket here in the southeast with incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we can never forget their great subs (affectionately known as pub subs) made in their deli department. My go-to sub is probably their Italian, same with my son, and my daughter likes their chicken tenders sub (and she really does not like subs nor sandwiches), however you cannot really go wrong with any sub that you order. Shopping in a Publix is a pleasant experience. The supermarket is clean and the staff greet you as you walk through the store. Publix goes the extra mile and they have reaped the benefits of understanding what their customers want in a supermarket. I would definitely recommend here.

Small, but efficient and so fun with the retro atomic 50’s/60’s facade!

I am totally appalled and disgusted by what I just experienced today and the Publix off of Edgewater Drive. I've shopped at this Publix and two others close by me for years. A homeless man had two items and was approaching customers about purchasing them for him.
