I've been going to Belle Isle PF on and off for about a decade and I personally love it here. It's my very favorite PF of all and it's actually improved since from I first started. The staff legit cares, is friendly and has solid information every single time I check with them. The only downside is it's not open 24 hours over the weekend, but having a Black Card, I can just go to another PF that is open with similar distance and time for those times. Belle Isle PF is just better in every category, IMO.
With a Black Card upgraded membership I can use the tanning and massage, plus my Wife can accompany me for free. I love working out with my Wife.
I never checked with any trainers before. PF seems to anti- push that to keep it judgement free, so I have no idea what those things in the board are about. I'm told they're not classes but they're instructional on how to use the equipment? That's the only thing I never really get a straight answer on. Probably they're instructed to not push that, and that really goes for every PF I've even been to. Heck, I'd pay for some personal training even if it's group lead, but I can understand them wanting to keep it affordable

Leon is the best. Really cares about his clients success. And this location seems like the only place that has a trainer. I recommend Liam to anyone wanting to learn the ropes

Decent sized planet fitness with big locker rooms. I enjoyed going here while I lived close by. However, I had a very hard time getting in contact with anyone at the store who could transfer my membership after I moved cities. Shoutout to Evan, who was finally able to transfer me the last time I called. If you need something, get him on the phone :)

Horrible customer service and counter rep. Unwilling to help me set up my Account the old fashioned way. Was not even at the counter when I got in and there were 3 other people in line. NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP!!! I am and Uber driver and I Uber the grave yard shift. Getting a membership is for me to have a shower and workout and n stretch after a long night work. The last thing I wanted to was be refused the proper help, forced to download the app, and have to watch jim carry a whole conversation with the security guard about their personal lives. This was embarrassing inconvenient and selfish. I had to delete apps to download yours and all I wanted was the old school membership card

Beautiful spacious gym with plenty of equipment to choose from. Staff is pretty nice, especially Awilda, she reminds me of my PF back home where they're big on customer service. Awilda always greets me by name when I come into the gym, goes out of her way to ask how my workout is going, and tells me to have a nice day when I'm leaving, even if shes taking care of another member. I love how she took the time to learn my name, it makes me feel special, and she always has a smile on her face. I do wish the gym was 24hrs on the weekend.

Awilda is always amazing and helpful with questions and with the guests. Her attitude is phenomenal and contagious. Awilda is a pure asset to the team and company!!
