After a really bad experience at Staples Store #1901 off Narcoossee with the actual manager named Kevin, who was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, I decide to take my business and money elsewhere.
I havent been to Office Depot in a very while and was I was truly impressed with the amount of highend office equipment and chairs. I request assistance, and this one manager was extremely friendly, courtesy, as well as helpful in assisting me with my purchase. This store managers name was Jay, she was a delight to work with went above and beyond what I would have expected. I left with a beautiful, expensive adult gaming chair, it was perfect. Again for anyone who visit this store ask for Jay and you'll see what I mean great personality and she will exceed your expectations. I will start making all my purchases here moving forward.

The cashier who works at UCF was very nice! Very friendly. However, the ginger guy was rude, short with me when I asked him for help, and didn't offer me help but a short answer instead. Had to spend extra money as a result of this. Promote the cashier and demote the other guy lol..

My daughter needed a printer for college. We went to three different stores chasing the cheapest printer we could find with what we needed. At the first two stores, we had nice people answer a few questions and we thought we knew what we wanted. So we looked online for where to find our model for the cheapest price, and we went to office Depot. When we got there, the selection was overwhelming so we asked for help finding the model we came for. Stan found what we were looking for and asked if he could answer any questions. He was the nicest and most knowledgeable sales person I have met in a very long time. He asked what we were using it for, how much we were using it and then went into detail about the pros and cons of the different types. He saved us money now and in the long run by informing us on specific prices per black and white vs color copies per page. He informed us of differences in ink prices and how fast we need to replace them. He was not a high pressure sales person, but he just wanted us to chose the best for our daughter. Stan, please know you are amazing at your job and we appreciate everything!! We will return when we need anything. Thank you!!

I was in such a rush to print copies of my resume for my interview. I'm driving to the store and I call ahead of time to see if my order had been printed, and I'm told that my card has been declined and the order did not go through. I panicked and asked what can I do to have it printed today and an employee name Will Took his time to direct me where to go and then when I got to the store I only had cash so he helped me purchase a gift card and I was able to get my résumé. If it wasn't for him I would've been late to my interview. Exceptional customer service.

I’m not sure how other locations are, but I have witnessed the decline of customer service in this location over the past few months under the supervision of Craig. In the beginning of this year, if I needed print services, it was done well and in a timely manner. Office Depot was my go-to one-stop print service center. Everyone was helpful, and I got much needed advice about how to get the best results with the printers. But during the past few months, they have been slowly transitioning to their self service machines, telling customers it would take at least 24 hours if they wanted the customer service they received before. Having self service stations is not the issue. The issue is having these machines be their primary option if they want their projects done today, and not offering any support with it either. The situation got progressively worse. Today I needed to print a simple picture, and I was told it would take 24 hours once again and referred to the self service stations. The problem was that there was only one machine actually in service, and people were having so much trouble with it. There was a large line of people waiting to use it, while the print crew paid no mind. There were people from other countries that didn’t understand these machines, people who are computer-illiterate who just want a nice picture printed, and the print staff left it all up the barely working machines. They even try to get people to just go to FedEx to do their service, I see it happen every time I come. Referring your customers to a competing business is just one of the many indications that they are subjecting their customers to low-quality services, and that there are places that they can do better. I tried bringing this attention to Craig, who supervises the store, and he was completely dismissive. He responded to me with a “okay, have a nice day ma’am,” claiming that he did his part by allowing me to speak to him about the issue when he saw how surprised I was by his response. He refused to even acknowledge that this was an issue, saying that computers break all the time and we can’t control who comes into the country. All of this is obviously besides the point, and he knew that, he just wanted to evade responsibility as if we’re in court and I’m about to arrest him for it. I made it clear that all I wanted Craig to do was to help the situation, I even told him that they keep sending customers to FedEx instead of helping them. He quickly dismissed me and the people who came after me complaining about the same thing. The service industry is facing a real blow right now, but it’s evident that the issue with this location lies in its leadership.

I just came back from there and I had a great experience. The first time I went it was a little confusing since it's all self service now. And the The associate that was in the store during my first time printing here was not very helpful. However I just came back from there right now, and the guy at the counter is very nice and helpful. It was a great easy and fast experience the second time around once I knew what I was supposed to do.

Originally we went in looking for an office chair and there was a pricing mistake with a sale tag on the wrong chair. The manager, Craig was fantastic and we were very grateful for him helping us out. We will definitely be coming back to this store because of him!!

They seem to make up pricing and services randomly in the printing department.

I ordered a desk on 8/14/2020 for store pick up. Online my order shows it was ready and had arrived at the store on Monday 8/17/2020. I called Monday to check if it was there and the associate said it was not in. I called Tuesday and Wednesday and told the associate that it was showing it had arrived and both days the informed me it was not there. On Friday I decide to visit the store and they inform me that it is showing that it has arrived at the store but they don’t hav

I came in to get an HDMI/USB converter cable to hook my laptop up to a new monitor. Craig immediately helped me. He was very knowledgeable and took his time. He answered all of my questions and went through all of the options with me. He didn't seemed rushed or annoyed at all. He verified I could return the other converter I bought earlier (from another Office Max). Super helpful. Thank you Craig!

A brief stop today just to get an email printed - thank you, Maria! - and I ended up doing a quick circle getting a better understanding of everything available at this Waterford Lakes location. I've used the pick-up option at another location and it was ideal. I was able to speak to the tech specialist onsite and definitely plan to return with my laptop for assistance. The staff are very helpful and I can easily see myself returning for supplies, if in the area. I did not notice as big a Clearance section, but some of the sale items were ideal. One brand in particular stands out - if you've never written with a Tul pen before, you do NOT know what you're missing.

I stopped in here to get a daily planner. While I use calendar on both my computer and my phone, I still like to have a paper one at my side and probably rely on it the most. I stopped in and looked around and saw the prices that I expected, exorbitant. Honestly, the cheapest one there was thirteen dollars and probably comprised a total cost of three or four cents. Well, I do use them and it is for a year, but the one that worked best for me had two left and both were heavily damaged. I asked did they have another to a disinterested team member and was told they could order one and have it shipped there. I actually considered buying it, but honestly could not see paying thirteen dollars for what should have cost me maybe seventy five cents (and that was in pristine condition). As a last resort, I went to Caldor and found an amazing one for under ten dollars, what they were trying to sell for like forty dollars here.
