Always a good experience. Happy to help the community. I think most of these negative reviews are unfair. They are not a junk removal service!

All voice mail boxes have been full for days. How do we donate if no one is available??

Whoever put the list together for donations did not include everything that was supposed to be donated, we weren't informed of everything that they wouldn't take. Once we found out they wouldn't take certain items and said we would call another donation center they were rude and condescending and said that we shouldn't call any other donation center because they would only refer us back to Mustard Seed because they won't take our items. It was a horrible experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DONATING TO THEM, DONATE TO OTHER BUSINESSES.

I like this organization because of their service delivery model, which is truly charitable! That is because I feel that they are truly there to help others, and not simply to make a profit! Here are some other reasons why I like them so much!1. They sell items in their little thrift store very inexpensively, unlike other thrift stores, which makes it affordable for everyone! ???2. They also have a program through which people-in-need can purchase a designated set of clothing from their thrift store, for a very, very, small amount of money.3. They coordinate with different local agencies to provide furniture, household items and other necessities to those who may have lost everything, for a variety of reasons.4. They support the local homeless community with clothing and other items. So, this is where I now take my donations of clothing and household items! And, they can use volunteers! ?

The lady on the phone for donation intake said they serve a 25 mile radius but because my zip code is in Clermont they won't come pick it up even though my home address is within the 25 mi radius. I tried explaining that to her and she wouldn't clarify. She just kept saying "We don't serve Clermont". Why not if I'm within the radius?

They were truly a blessing to me and my kids after losing everything in the hurricane. Jay was amazing and helpful and such a sweetheart I'm so grateful ❤️

Horrible experience. Drove for 1 hour only to realize that you can't walk inside to see the furniture. And there is a $200 charge for the furniture you potentially get but you don't even know what you'll be getting. Borderline scam.

Mom downsized her house and gave me a new mattress for my guest room. The current mattress is barely used, always had a cover and is in great condition. Orange County recommended using them to pick up mattresses. I thought, why not? Perfectly good mattress might help someone in need. They wanted to charge me $25 for pickup and only during business hours. Yeah it's going into the landfill now. A lot easier to just put it at the curb on large trash pickup day. Why would I have to pay and adjust my schedule to donate something? Lol

I don’t think it’s right to charge people in need a $200 processing fee for used items you get for free.I haven’t used it but referred someone and that’s what she was told.

Good local NON-PROFIT charity to work with, whether you're shopping thrift stores or have applied for assistance. Either way they help the community so please donate to them if you have gently used furniture and decor in good condition or clean current clothing that people may need.
