Christian was patient and kind while I was phone shopping (as I am not computer savvy). He was very helpful and very knowledgeable! He was alone in the store and helped everyone with the same patients, while multitasking.

I had a problem with porting my number out because metro service stopped working for me the way it has in the past. I asked to use the phone so that I could fix the problem and the manager handed me the phone. I told them what I was trying to do. As I was listening to the number options, they started walking back letting me use it I guess and started talking over so I couldn't hear the options on the line. They were very rude and definitely just made everything worse that I was already switching my number over anyway. They should never ever be managers of anything. Ever. Rude and unhelpful. Maybe had they helped I could have still been a customer as I wasn't in a contract and stayed for a long time. The left one in the photo was rude. I had every right to go to the store to ask for help and they were awful. Don't patronize this business.
As a background to this, I am a fully employed RN who can choose any company they wish. Including with military discounts as a vet. I thought I would try MetroPCS since a friend gave me a nice free phone back during Covid. I thought I would try it for a month and I stayed several years. The phone still works but over time as I began traveling to Miami weekly to go back for my FNP, the service became bad. It was a big hassle to type in tons of numbers and work with tech support to try to get it working. Nothing worked to improve the service. So I was forced to change my phone and the service.
I bought a new phone from straight talk and it took way longer to arrive. When it arrived, as per the instructions, I set it up by putting my account number, pin, and phone number in the website.
Nothing happened. It didn't port my number from Metro. When I called Metro, they said I must call Straight Talk. Straight talk said I need to get a port number from Metro (so I went to the store to get the information I needed because Metro had failed to tell me this on the phone or in person). The management never said I needed a Port Number which they could have easily done, and I'd have been on my way. Not once did they provide that pertinent piece of information. It was the Straight Talk rep who eventually told me that was why my phone wasn't being ported. So, I had ever right to go to the Metro Store after having not had help from either one to know this information which I never got from Metro.
It is as if they make it hard to port your number on purpose and this is a designed effect of leaving the company. Had the person in the store told me that, it would have been easy to fix, however they did not.
Metro Cut my number off and it doesn't let you speak to a human being on the phone when it was cut. I didn't want to pay again as Id already put in the port for my number and I didn't want to wait another month to activate the phone.
These pictured people have 0 business in customer service or in any management role as I made it very clear what I needed and they never gave me the important detail that was required to switch my phone over. They were awful and so I do recommend that you stay away from this location and Metro being that this situation shouldn't have been such a pain and time consuming.
This interaction shouldn't have been handled this way at all as I was well within my right to be there needing to use the phone to call the customer service at Metro to get the port number.
I went to Walmart and they were so kind and helped me! I recommend Straight Talk. It's better everything and they have better phones. Wal Mart Neighborhood market was so nice and really showed the difference in how to handle a customer.
I want to make it clear that I was nice and said please and thank you and they handed me the phone at Metro willingly after I stated what I needed. They were then walking back their offer to use it and standing over me while I was doing so intimidating me and being

Go See Allen!!! I can't say enough good things about this guy. I have been here 3 times for phone purchases and this is the only man I will go see for future phones. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Great customer service, and a fantastic problem solver if you need help with your phone set-up or any inquiries. You rock Allen!!!!

The best customer service I have ever received was in this store!!!! I went in with no expectations looking for a phone for my daughter and went home very happy and with a great cellphone for her ,definitely more than what i was looking for!!! John is AMAZING!!!
