I’ve been a long time customer for the convenience of running in and getting things done pretty fast and how friendly Steven the pharmacist is. As of late, there are new employees who are literally the rudest ever. They advertise they are open until 7 but the pharmacist leaves at 5 so what’s the use in being open if you can’t get your medication??

I LOVE this pharmacy!! They make stuff as easy as they possibly can on you! The ladies are so nice, and the pharmacist is so awesome at doing whatever he can to fill a prescription or ordering what he needs to help you get what you need!!

Metro went above and beyond trying to locate a prescription med that CVS, Walgreen's, Target, Wal-Mart, and Publix couldn't get their hands on. They staff was genuinely excited to see me thrilled to finally have my medication after 3 weeks!

I had a horrible experience here. First they dispensed a medication to me that I told them earlier (the same day) I was allergic to. I had to go home just to see it was the wrong medication. Then I went back and they said they didn’t have the original medication I was prescribed and couldn’t order it. The tech told me she would transfer it for me as she could clearly see I didn’t feel well and was getting the run around. I drove around for an hour and half to find another pharmacy with the medication just for the pharmacist from metromeds to tell me it was against the law to transfer an initial prescription they could only transfer refills. This was a lie. He and I both knew it. So I left. A couple minutes later he called me back to say he was wrong and he could transfer it, but at this point I felt that they were no longer really helping me and I had already left that pharmacy. I tried a couple more pharmacys after that to no avail. They were not helpful at all and made me feel like they were almost against me being dispensed the medication my doctor prescribed to me. If you want an easy honest pharmacy experience this is not the place. There obviously isn’t a line at this pharmacy for a reason.

Such a great pharmacy, the pharmacist and his staff quickly get to know u, and even as one enters the door, they spot me, address me politely and cheerfully before I even get up to the counter. Pharmacist gives excellent advice and information on medicines and potential clash of medicines, depending on one's other prescriptions. When those other pharmacies are backed up with customers, MetroMeds is speedy, reliable, and always a pleasant experience. I sincerely hope they will open more stores, maybe one in my immediate area of Winter Park(!)
