“I would never normally review a UPS Store but MAN, this place was awesome! We had to do an Amazon return for a vacuum cleaner that was broken. The handle was broken and couldn’t detach, and it couldn’t fit in the original package! We tried everything and the Amazon warehouse wouldn’t help (said they didn’t have a box big enough), Amazon customer support didn’t help (just asked us to put in the original package…which we couldn’t do), and even a vacuum store didn’t help (they just said we were out of luck).
We took it here hoping they could give us a box big enough to fit the handle in, and an employee, Johnny, went WAY above and beyond!! He actually took out a screwdriver and took apart the whole vacuum to help us remove the handle and fit it in the original box. He was awesome - I hope he gets a raise because this is the level of customer service you rarely see nowadays. We’ll be coming back here whenever we need to send anything in the future!”

“Walked in to post my Amazon return. There were other customers in the store but the staff were efficient. Unlike other UPS stores, the staff here are pretty friendly, especially the lady with the short hair whom I didn’t catch her name. I was in and out in under 2 mins!”
“Its been 7 years since my first 2-star review for this store. I gave 2-stars because they actually charged me for a strip of tape to close a box. Out of 3 UPS stores I visited, this was the only store that charged. Granted it was only $1.00 I think, but come on... charging for a strip of tape?
Anyway, Im updating my review because I've been here many dozens of times throughout the years and speed is greater than being charged for tape. 99% of the time I'm in and out in under a couple of minutes when dropping off an Amazon return. Only time there may be a wait is if there is a line, but it moves quickly enough.
I still say shame on you for charging me for a strip of tape, but at this point I think you've earned 3 additional stars.”

“I am a person with a disability and I am in a wheelchair. I was passing the UPS store in the plaza where it is located. After I passed the store there was a restaurant called the revolving hot pot. They had several benches blocking the way for me to go to the end of the plaza to the pizza restaurant. There was a down ramp but it would have forced me to go into the street where traffic goes by I felt a bit humiliated because this pedestrians passed by I could not get through to pass. This is I believe against the Ada regulations. Those of you who know this restaurant call them and let them know that it would be nice if they were more aware of the needs of a person in a wheelchair. Anyway out came an employee by the name of Jason. I quote Jason by saying sir let me move those ventures for you I am so sorry. I turn around and there is a young man that started moving the benches one by one so that I could pass through. Are you kidding me wow I just am not used two people offering help like that in a town where everyone is so busy doing what they do. I am a retired customer service and motivational speaker for IBM. I am dictating this text so please excuse me for grammar errors as I really don't have the time to go back and correct it I called his manager Hugh McPhillips and he said I tried to hire people that hav
e this type of personality. What a mindset this store manager told me that he has a wife that is disabled as well. I am here checking on my place as I am moving here soon and I certainly will be using the UPS store at 12386 State road 535 for all my package and mailing needs. Jason words can't express what your kindness meant to me. I practice random acts of kindness each day and my friend Jason you just did an amazing random act of kindness Hugh please acknowledge Jason as you said you were going to let's talk money I think he needs a $20 an hour raise LOL I know that's impossible just joking but this fabulous employee needs to be rewarded in some way thank you thank you thank you thank you Jason and hue the store manager. I know this is a long review but I just can't say enough about you continue making people's day. Keep that smile on your face Jason and you are a great asset to The UPS store family”

“I am a long time customer of the Dr. Phillips UPS store. The employees are always friendly and helpful, even when they'rebusy. I went in today to do my usual Amazon return and to my surprise they set up a self-service Amazon return area. I thought this was an excellent idea, especially today as busy as they were. Unfortunately another customer was not as thrilled as I and was verbally berating the two young men who were working. She became even more abrasive after I walked in and one of them offered to help me. These two young gentlemen were very professional and maintained their composure, I am not sure I would have been able to. I was outside the store as the customer left and she started in with me. I went back in the store to check on the boys because I was so horrified by the way they were treated. They were very busy and as customers came in I let them know about the return station and like me they were thrilled. It is a shame that these young men were persecuted for doing their job all because someone felt wrongly targeted.”

(I hope I didn't destroy the spelling of her name.) She goes above and beyond in customer service. She has solved every problem in the easiest way possible. She can tell you which mail/package carrier is the best for your needs. She can solve your Amazon return mistakes, and she is working almost all the time. “I had a small to medium size folding table that I had to ship, but didn’t have a box that would fit it. The lady who assisted me was very helpful in finding a box big enough for it, and making sure that the table was wrapped really well in bubble wrap so it wouldn’t get damaged during transit. I really appreciated it and she was very friendly.”
