Lee Kimberly DVM have provided care for our animal family since we moved to Orlando. They've treated our animals as their own. I can't say enough about how great they are.

Extremely disappointed- Front Desk staff are unprofessional and not attentive. I walked in today to bring my friends dog to see the doctor because she was having diarrhea with blood and mucus in it. As soon as I walked up to the front desk I stood in front of a lady who was on the computer and didn't even acknowledge me. I finally said excuse me Ma'am... and she looked up at me as if I was disturbing her... as I started to talk to her to explain what was going on she never made eye contact with me she just kept typing and doing whatever she was doing on the computer and I felt really disrespected. I explained to her what was going on and she said the earliest I can get you in is at 10 and I told her this is an emergency not a routine visit...she said " diarrhea is not an emergency"! HOW RUDE! Extremely unprofessional mannerism.. it was very dismissive and not compassionate at all... then I said well I don't think you heard me correctly when I said there is blood and mucus in her diarrhea..she said.. the best I can do is.. you can leave her here with us in the doctor will see her when they can.. she said but I will tell you that it's probably stress colitis and if you leave her here it's only going to make it worse because she'll be stressed.. that statement alone did not make me feel comfortable or confident in this Clinic.. your job is to keep her out of stress so what you're telling me is that your facility is a stressful facility and it's going to make her worse if I leave her in your care when you are supposed to be the professionals? Not impressed at all... so I told her, what you're pretty much saying to me is take her and come back later because you just told me that if I leave her here it's going to get worse so you put me in a position to decide whether to allow her to get worse or to take her home with me so it doesn't get worse and she said "that's not what I said".....um...ok lady! You need a new job because you are clearly NOT PEOPLE FRIENDLY OR DOG FRIENDLY.. needless to say I will never be back here again and I will warn every person I know to stay away from this place!

Multiple negative experiences here have made me believe that this clinic is poorly managed. On multiple occasions front desk staff have given medical advice rather than scheduling an appointment for a provider to see my pet. I work in healthcare and this would be the equivalent of going to a hospital and a receptionist giving medical advice rather than making an appointment with a physician or nurse to see the patient for diagnosis. Again this happened multiple times. From my experience it did not seem the front desk staff was trained medically and I'm not willing to take my animals to a clinic that allows staff that is not clinically trained to make decisions on the health and well-being of my animals. In speaking to the manager, I found him to be defensive and it was difficult to get a word in edgewise. He would not confirm whether the front desk staff was clinically trained or not, he just said they spoke to a doctor but we all know how that's game goes when you tell someone something, they tell someone else, things are naturally lost in translation especially if you have non clinical workers trying to communicate clinical conditions.

So I went it today to get a flea medication for my dog. I spoke with Nancy who helped me find a medication which I was unsure if it was the right one. She said to me if it was the wrong pill I could return back and get the right one. So I call back 15 minutes or so after I went home to verify which pill was the right one and she has the nerve to say she never said those words to me. That is very unprofessional for her and the place itself. You must honor what you say. I will never return to this place. Very very unprofessional!!!!

Absolutely obsessed with our vet! We have moved a couple times and used a handful of different vets in our pets lifetime, and they by far take the cake!! We moved again, a little further away, and make the drive to come see them. They have a $60 office visit fee, which I noticed is fairly standard, a little more than others (but not by much). They are really reasonable with meds, and just to save you costs every time they can. They are so so sweet to our cat and dog, and try to make them as comfortable as possible. I love all of their staff from the nurses to the vets. We love Dr O'Sullivan, she's the best!

Simply the most kind vet practice in Orlando. Today, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, who had been with me for nearly 18 years. She had begun to fail physically during Hurricane Dorian's near pass by Florida. The vet had closed for several days that week due to the holiday and the storm. I left a message, knowing they would have a backlog of patient needs when they returned on Thursday. I received a call at 8:05 am on Thursday morning, returning my message. I decided to wait one more day, to see if my dog would rally one more time. On Friday morning, she hadn't. So I called AMC again. I know they were fully booked and I know it took some effort to work us in...but they did, for Saturday morning. I was a wreck when I arrived today. they already had a room set aside for us and gave us privacy immediately. the doctor was so gentle and kind, and my dog was never afraid. She simply went to sleep. I know they had worked us in that day, but I never felt rushed or embarrassed, and I was so grateful to be able to do the right thing for my dog at the right time and ease her on her way. there are no words to express my gratitude.

It has taken me a month to be able to write this well deserved review, it has taken this long for me to put my gratitude into words without breaking down. My 13 year old Boxer, Coco had been sick with Renal Disease for a year, she had been diagnosed with it in May, 2018. We had been taking her to another veterinarian's office which was closer to our first house in College Park. I will not go into the details of how bad our recent experience was at that other place, but I recognized that she wasn't in good shape - she was falling and there were other symptoms that were pointing to renal failure. I have had dogs my whole adult life and worked with Boxer rescue groups, I am very familiar with this. The other place wasn't listening, but they finally ran the blood test I had been asking for and her kidneys were failing. Had they listened to me, I would have been able to schedule an appointment with Lap of Love and Coco would have been able to cross the rainbow bridge at home. I was angry and upset, I didn't want to have to go to that office, I was done with them. Our dog sitter who adored her made a phone call to Animal Medical Clinic, they know her there and they took us in immediately. We were so thankful and grateful that they are just a few blocks away from us. When we came in, the office was bright, beautiful, warm and friendly. They didn't know us or Coco, yet they treated us like old friends and her like she was their favorite fur patient. The staff was sensitive to what we were going through, walked us through it. I held my big girl, looked at her in the eyes and tell her how much Mommy loved her as she passed over. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. I can't thank them enough for their help through this incredibly difficult time. Later that week we received a sweet and thoughtful sympathy card from them. A very traumatizing experience (thanks to the other place) was made better because of them. They now have my business and my kitties will be going there from now on. Thank you!

We have been taking our pets here for over 20 years. I trust our Vets and they have ALWAYS gone above and beyond in treating our little ones. The staff is so caring that I feel we are family. I would not trust anyone else when caring for my pets. Pam and Tom Langford

Brought my two cats to the clinic for a simple wellness check and vaccines. They were completely healthy indoor cats with no problems. Three days after my visit, one of my cats developed a nasty and persistent eye infection. He had never been sick prior to this or had any contact with other cats. The staff here either have horrible hygiene practices, or someone is purposely infecting animals. I brought my cat back in and I couldn't get a clear answer as to what caused the infection. If you choose to bring your animals here, make sure the staff wash their hands and don't let your pet out of your sight. I'm honestly too scared to go back. I was only trying to be proactive about the health of my cats, and ended up with more harm than good.

Never been to a vet that was so nice to me and nice to my pet. The clinic is amazing. There's a bow wow bistro with tons of dog and cat treats, as well as coffee for the owners. Amy is AMAZING!!!! Service-with-a-smile must be her middle name. Needed a health certificate for our dog. Called around to other vets and none of them knew anything or wanted to help. Called and got Amy. She knew all the answers, looked up what she didn't know and called our previous vets to get all of our dog's records. As long as we are in Orlando we will never go anywhere else.

After spending a year going to a large chain's veterinarian, the Animal Medical Clinic Of Orlando was a welcome change! The folks there are so welcoming, friendly and caring. They do what they say they are going to do. My dog is scared of strangers, so that combined with a trip to the vet should drive her crazy but she was calm and cool and seemed to enjoy the experience. Dr. David is the greatest person I have ever met! I wish she took human patients as well. My dog actually likes her and I am thankful to have such a caring doctor ready to help my dog-daughter.
