**Warning: Predatory and Manipulative Tactics at ESPORTA Michigan Ave location.As a dedicated member of Esporta for over two years, I am heartbroken and outraged to share my recent experience with their personal training service. I was aggressively pressured into signing a contract I couldn’t afford and didn’t fully understand by a manager who exploited my trust. In a moment that felt like a complete violation of my boundaries, he even used his own credit card to pay the deposit, ensuring I felt indebted to him.The promised comprehensive training turned out to be nothing but an empty promise. My first session involved a brief, meaningless chat and a dismissive walkthrough of the gym floor, where I was left to figure out machines on my own—no guidance, no support, just cold indifference to my fitness goals and past achievements. ( I have lost over 70lbs without a trainer)When I tried to cancel within the week—my right as per their own terms—I was met with resistance and manipulation. The manager argued relentlessly on the phone, trying to guilt me into staying by offering free sessions instead of respecting my decision. Eventually, he revealed that leaving would cost me $600 for a buyout. It was a betrayal, making me feel trapped and taken advantage of.This isn't just about a gym contract; it's about a place I once loved, turning into a nightmare scenario where profits matter more than the well-being of its members. I urge anyone considering this gym to think twice about the ethical implications of supporting a business that uses such predatory tactics to exploit loyalty and manipulate women into unwanted commitments.

Don’t recommend it at all if a score under 1 where available I will go for that one the gym has old machines dirty bathroom people smoking stuff inside poor service and poor customer service

The staff is nice, gym is okay, the members are largely inconsiderate of the space and the corporate team seems mega scummy. In trying to cancel my membership the staff told me I had to do so between 9-5 which I can't cause of work. I was then told that my only option was to print out and mail in a cancelation notice - seriously guys?I get home and log on to their website and in three minutes found an option to cancel my membership online. I called the location back to ask if I what I did registered in their system to which I was told yes, your membership shows as cancelled on our end. The gym staff was completely unaware of the option to cancel online and I can't help but think that's an intentional move by corporate.Nothing but headaches with this business. There are plenty of other better gyms in the area - do yourself a favor and support a business that doesn't hate its clientele.

Each of the gyms has no heat in hot tubs or no hot water to shower and all gym pools are to cold.

The worst gym, I became a member since 2014 and I never went to the gym and now in 2024 ten years later they kept almost $5,000 $1,900 for a training that I never used and $2,396 for membership all that money they stole from me and the manager is trash good people Hateful, they are crooks, they steal your money. I don't recommend that gym garbage to anyone. I hate that place and the very vulgar manager who served me makes me ashamed that she is Latina just as I don't know how they put animals to work like that manager's woman.

The location of the gym is very convenient. The gym is clean and organized. There are a lot of different types of weight machines.

My experience at this gym has always been satisfactory until the arrival of the new manager, Julie. It is clear that Julie requires immediate attention to her communication skills with customers, as her behavior lacks the necessary respect and professionalism expected in her position. It is imperative for her to recognize the gravity of her role and refrain from any form of entitlement or rudeness in her interactions. I am greatly dismayed by Julie's unprofessional conduct and expect swift action to rectify this matter.

A lot of members realize that management doesn't care about this gym and it shows. Seriously guys - if you just started trying, this place would become light years better overnight. Not okay for members to be playing their own music out loud in the gym. Not okay for members to take equipment into places of the gym they don't belong. I've seen dumbbells in the sauna on more than one occasion. Seriously. Not okay to allow teenagers to swear and use racial slurs loudly all around the gym and not re-rack their weights. I realize that this is just me shouting into the void, but it'd be nice to see someone have a little pride in their work and initiate some change with this gym.

New to the area and wanted to check out the gym with a pass and the staff was super rude, definitely not joining this gym. There is 1000 gyms in orlando being rude to new potential members is not the way to get people to sign up. The girls name at the desk was Julie
