This is the worst hotel ever. The front desk is horrible. She always has an attitude very unpleasant. The room smelled of mold and mildew. The rug was in very rough condition. Fridge falling apart. The wifi ad tv were despicable. They gave me the run around for 2 weeks saying yes the were going to give me a lease and at the last minute denied me for no reason. The application fee was $100 and they took that from my refundable deposit. Then told me that they denied me. It was better about couple years ago when Lana, Stefan, and Alex ran this place. It really felt like home wen they were around. Stay away from this place if you don't want to lose you money. They are nothing but liars.

Great staff, friendly and efficient. The hotel is being remodeled so there are some ROUGH spots. This IS reflected in the price! Gotta give them that. And they are obviously working hard to improve, and quickly. ... So, if price is a concern and you are not picky, stay here. But if you are a stickler, give them 6 months.

All the reviews should of been telling however we booked through booking.com which states no check in time. We went to check in and to our surprise after driving for hours that because it was after 5 that it was canceled. The hotel doesn't even have the name on the outside of the building. Then they told me I can pay 50$ in cash for deposit and said I might get it back the next day which I should of known something was up. ... however because this was all last minute we proceeded to check in. I almost didn't get my card back. The staff friendly I will say however the elevator sounded like was falling apart and had roaches. Our room was nice big bed clean and cold and full fridge. That was cool however people doing drug deals on the same floor as us and very loud. Howwver we were told no visitors which blew my mind considering our neighbor also in parking lot was furniture n people out til 4 in the morning we checked out early at about 8 which seem to offend staff. As checking out she needed my card and id again.... however now its been 2 weeks and no refund on deposit however.... when I called now they are asking me my card number again. This place is not worth a dime let alone the 215 I was charged

Room was clean, spacious and large bed. The floors were sticky hand had a film over them. The hallway defiantly did and the room kind of smelled of cigarette smoke. Overall everything was great.

This place saved us after the motel 6 across the street decided to cancel our reservation 2 days prior to our check in date WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW. There was a lot of work being done to renovate the place but Miss Darlene was a godsend and found a room for us! Thank you so much and really sorry about the pet drama!

I give the Katerina 3 stars because the problem lies not in the staff but in the fact that it is in a high crime and drug use area. But despite that, I found the staff to be friendly and the price very reasonable. I paid close to 500 dollars a week at the motel 6 across the street. I had no micro wave or mini fridge. And I was dealing with the same crime element. At the Katerina I paid 315 per week with mini fridge and microwave. There was also a daily police presence, so I felt safe. Above all I enjoyed my stay because I was on the third floor and it was very quiet. If you need a temporary place to stay and are on a tight budget, I would highly recommend it.

PLEASE TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS. Avoid this place at all costs. The building looks like it’s being demolished. Cracks, broken windows, garbage and furniture strewn about the parking lot. I’m no stranger to budget motels but this is a war zone. The silver lining was we dodged a bullet: We reserved online and when we showed up at 5 pm we were told that our reservation was canceled because we didn’t show up at 3pm lol what? Their website reads “24 hour reception. You can check in at any time” The cherry on top is the front desk woman. She was a complete nightmare and needs an exorcism.

Smells bad in the hallways.. like black mold/mildew. My first time visiting they threatened to call the cops on me and all I was doing was going to my cousin's room to see him for a little bit.. wasn't even after 11pm..:and they only have weekly ratings and everyone that works there lives there.. on some floors there are mattresses in the hallway all the time .. just not clean or professional and very rude staff..b

The hotel itself is ok. The staff is great with the exception of Derek. He is VERY RUDE TO GUESTS. He constantly use profanity towards the guests and children. I had permission from management to receive visitors because of my situation and he still refuse. I do not understand how this person is still employed. There is no reason for his behavior towards guests and future guests. Absolutely crazy..........

Worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at. Don’t waste your money. I felt very unsafe. As soon as I walked in the room , the odor of cigarettes and mold hit me. The shower had no hot water , towels were dirty , and what looked like blood was on the shower curtain and carpet. The pictures online look nothing like how it actually looks. Elevator had beer cans and spilled beer on the elevator floor. Only positive thing I can say , was the front desk ladies were nice.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I got a deal for 1 night for $60. First off, it's not the worst hotel ever, but it's not great. I would say if you are needing a place for a single night or two, it will suffice. However, I don't recommend bringing the family or staying for too many nights, the hotel is older and they rent rooms by the week. There is a persistent smell of cigarette smoke through out the building and rooms. My room was clearly in need of some repairs and updates, but it was clean.Pros: Cheap, close to I-4, large room size, free wifiCons: Older, not well maintained, guest coming and going all times of night, smells.

the only good things i can say about this place is the girl that works the front desk was very nice and friendly. the price was also low at $70 when many of the other options around the area are over $200the negative. the room smells. very bad musky odor. mold in the bathroom also probably contributes to the odor. the bathroom is in rough shape as seen in pictures. the entire hotel just looks and feels dirty. stains on carpet and walls. pretty sure i witnessed at least 1 drug deal in the parking lot. definitly not the safest feeling here as this place appears to attract some shady folks possibly because they have low weekly rate rooms they rent out.
