Nikki lacks customer service. I went to get my hair done with Nikki the Friday before Christmas for a sew-in. She made several comments about how "thick" my hair was and she struggled to manage it. Once my hair was done it was tight as most protective styles are the first few days. A couple days more go by and I realized I was starting to form bumps on my scalp and was experiencing a burning sensation that would not go away. I eventually had to remove it myself. When I called Nikki to tell her about my situation she was uncooperative and unapologetic. After me having to ask about how I could be compensated (she did not offer me any resolution) she said I could get my deposit back as store credit. When I asked if I could get it back on my card she explained that I had not spoke to her about it sooner therefore there was nothing she could do. In my opinion this was unreasonable as they were closed for the holidays and from my knowledge reopened almost a week later after my hair was done. I have never had to leave a bad review but this is extremely unprofessional and disappointing as it is already hard enough finding some to trust with my hair texture. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I'm glad you are able to provide me with an answer now that it is public than when we spoke on the phone. Like I told you over the phone. I had NO complaints about the hair we used but instead how tight the sew in and braids ended up being but if "quality comes first" and you had concerns about my hair extensions that should have been brought to my attention when I asked for your opinion and you answered "I don't know" you didn't mention that my hair didn't match in texture until after it was installed but once again I had no complaints about how it looked. I never reported having any issues with tangled hair, "low quality hair" or lack of curls. Yes I called about my water bottle and you told me to come and pick it up Saturday and I went (per your instructions) but you were CLOSED. I came in today and you were not there. I was told you would not be there for an additional couple days. It is standard that new styles might be a little tight for 2-3 days so I waited but with that being said what would be "a timely fashion"? Anyways I appreciate you offering me the in store credit for my deposit. I hope you can dig a little deeper and find some additional compassion and kindness. Future advice, an apology goes a long way.

Nikki is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and overall a great stylist. I have curly hair and haven’t had a haircut in a long time, 2 years to be exact. The reason I’ve gone so long was because I couldn’t find anyone in the orlando area that could cut my naturally curly hair without butchering it. I’m so glad I found her, this is by far the best haircut I’ve had since moving to orlando. My hair looks so much healthier and thicker! My scalp also feels the best it’s felt in a long time, I have dandruff and she did a scalp treatment and it helped so much. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending everyone I know to her.

Nikki did such a great job on my hair. I had the silk press done and I love her work! She did a great job trimming my hair as well! Her salon is clean and she was very professional. I will definitely be returning.

I highly recommend this place. Nikki is AMAZING! She’s very personable and has a great personality. She doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another client. She asks questions before and during to make sure you’re getting what you. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This places is awesome Mildred has been doing my hair for years. This place is great the environment as well. Mildred is always on point with my hair color and treatment. She definitely can blow dry hair especially Dominican hair!!!! Nicky is also great she put my hair extensions and they lasted for about 3 months. The hair quality is great.

I’m very particular with who styles my hair. Nikki was phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better hairstylist. Her knowledge alone about hair/hair products was impressive. She is so detailed and takes pride in her artwork. After she was finished with my hair, she made me look incredible, I’m getting compliments like crazy. I know my hair is in good hands!!!! I recommend her 100%!!!

I've been coming here inconsistently for about a year and I LOVE THEM! I don't ever write reviews, but Nikki is just so educated in the hair care field. Every time I call, even if I have a style in mind, she tells me that they can either do it or she tells me that it's based off my hair density. She is always so nice and answers all of my questions! The good reviews are all true! I love that they are so close to UCF as well! As a student, it is extremely convenient to have knowledgeable people so close to school! As long as I am close by, Joni's beauty bar is my go to!

I asked for a simple wash and blow dry, mind you my hair was not too burnt prior and still had bounce. The wash was good but the process of blow drying my hair was not typical. My hair was left flat atop and burnt at the ends. No bounce whatsoever. Or at least try to curl the hair slightly to hide the burnt ends.. Too expensive for what I got on top of that there's an upcharge for everything you get depending on each hair even in different types of curly and straight hair... too technical for the same product's that could be found elsewhere and upcharge for those products too. Not too happy with the outcome.. Now I have to cut the ends that were burnt more than before ..making my hair even shorter.

Just went in for a consulation stylist was very professional and knowledgeable and answer all my questions I see my self becoming a repeat customer and she also give me very good recommendations about what hair to purchase and what store I could try out. I already knew about some things she was recommending but I was just testing her knowledge about what to purchase, the style I want, and how to take care of said hair. She passed my expectations I don't know about anybody else's but I highly recommend going to this salon. I will repost when it's my schedule time to get my hair done. But for consulation A+.

I loved how my nail tech did my nails, Jilianys was amazing! She was super nice and focused on the quality a lot. I would rate 4 stars but the whole vibe was just off to me by the hairstylist working, it was weird. There were also cockroaches sneaking around.

A friend of mine came to visit and needed a hair salon to get her hair done on a short notice, we spoke to the owner who accommodated her request . They have done an amazing job. The customer service they provide is above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommended place. Thank you
