Service was great. The employees were all helpful and courteous. Very close to universal/islands of adventure. Have a shuttle. Breakfast was pretty good and nice variety. Had a stroller delivered there and it was quite easy as well. Only negatives are we found a few sugar ants in our room and there were a few loud dogs in other rooms. Wish they kept pets on certain floors but wasn’t a huge deal over all. Would stay there again.

We stayed here during a mini-vacation for Christmas Break (probably not the greatest idea), and other than a few minor inconveniences it was great. The hotel is called "Home2 Suites by Universal" but the only thing I could see from my window was Icon Park on International Drive. Although Universal is around 10 minutes from the hotel. The room was quite spacious, which I liked. Ours had 2 beds, an entire living room with an oddly off-centered TV, a bathroom, and a small kitchen. The shower came with 2 strands of long dark brown hair (bonus I guess?), but other than that the bathroom was fine. As for the beds, the one I slept in was lower to the ground than the other one for some reason and every time I moved the entire bed would squeak. It was really annoying. Not sure why, but there's no room 302, but there is a 301 and 303. Seems like an odd number to skip. The staff was friendly, not much to say there. The breakfast was a little slim, but that's probably because we came late and the hotel was pretty full during our stay. Also, the elevator broke down, but luckily it broke down on the day we checked out.Whoever was controlling the music in the lobby had some interesting music choices. In the span of one breakfast, they played The Weeknd, NSYNC, and Oliver Tree.Overall it was an excellent hotel for the price, but some minor inconveniences lowered my ranking.

Great clean and spacious rooms. Nice staff and convenient. Breakfast did not offer a variety for two of the three days we stayed. Some of the food came out of a microwave pack and was cold. Not hardly any meat mostly processed or sugary options. Not conducive to a low carb lifestyle. And the egg scramble came in a microwave

Very nice and clean rooms! Plenty of room, nice basically stocked kitchenette, nice sized closet, desk, plenty of cupboards & shelves and comfortable bed. Breakfast offered a big variety of food and drinks. Staff was friendly. Located close to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure so it was very convenient.

My stay was short but Home2 Suites made sure it was comfortable. The staff was friendly and was always available. The hotel has a parking lot which is free for the guests to use. Very easy to get to and from the airport being close to the highway.Rooms: The room was spacious and offer all the normal amenities but more. Since it's a Home2 Suites, the room had nearly a full kitchen available for you to use. Also plenty of storage and room to work or relax.Nearby activities: It's not right in the middle but still pretty close to everything in the area.

My family of 5 and I stayed here 2 non-consecutive nights in October. We picked this hotel due to it's proximity to Universal, it's lower cost, and being able to accommodate 5 guests in 1 room. The rooms we stayed in (312 and 213) were clean, however, we did come across some small inconveniences. Neither room we stayed in were stocked with the bedding for the sofabed. We had to call the front desk each of our 2 nights to get these delivered. Additionally, the deadbolt in room 312 did not work. It seemed as if the lock did not line up correctly with the hole for it in the door jam.One last comment about the hotel service is I wish they would have checked my ID more. One day I got a bottled water out of the hotel lobby and asked them to charge my room. I was only asked what room #. Then, on a separate occasion, I asked for a physical key card to my room (I had been using my digital key) and I was given one without anyone asking for my ID. Good thing I am an honest person, but it scared me what someone would be able to get away with at this hotel regarding safety, security, and charging items to others' rooms. The shuttle to Universal runs 3 times each morning and brings guests back to the hotel 3 times each evening. It is free, but you do need to make a reservation up to 24 hours in advance. If you do not get a reservation and don't want to drive or call a service to drive you, it is a 25ish minute walk to the Universal security/City Walk and it is next to busy streets over the interstate.Overall, this hotel did it's job - it gave us a place to rest. The staff was very friendly and I would say that was the best thing about this hotel.

When we first got into our room I always check to make sure everything is clean, which this room was. But there was some issues. The shower leaked into the kitchen and the bathroom door wouldn't shut easily. The front door was very hard to lock also. We went downstairs that night to let them know but they were at capacity so we couldn't switch rooms until the next morning. We spoke with a very nice woman the next morning (I wish I remembered her name!) and she made sure we would get a different room ASAP. We ran some errands and shortly after we got back the room was ready. Everything was clean and working in that room. The staff was wonderful the whole time we were there. They even offered to move our stuff to the new room. Yes this was a minor hiccup, but things happen and they handled it well.Breakfast was ok. I wish they had some gluten free options for my kids. The beds were super comfortable! Or maybe we were just so exhausted from walking all day we just slept so well! The hotel offered a shuttle to Universal but we never used it. It's about a 30 minute walk to Universal and about a 4 minute drive. It was about a 30 minute drive to Disney Springs with traffic. Lots of restaurants nearby, too. I would stay here again!Rooms: Very clean rooms and comfortable bedsWalkability: About a 30 min walk to Universal Studios

Hotel is very close to Universal Studios. They are associated with Universal, so we were able to add an express pass onto our tickets through a Universal representative in the lobby. The place was clean and had lots of room.

Large room with plenty of counter and drawer space. Nice kitchen area. Small pool but awesome gym! Great location for universal trip. Free parking. Great free breakfast. Had a shuttle that can in the 3 times in the morning and had 3 return times after the park closed. Very convenient to drive to the park if you don't mind paying the parking fee.The room was comfortable. Bed slept great. Shower was hot. Great movie channels. Everyone we encountered that worked here was very friendly. From making reservation, chucking in and breakfast.... All wonderful people!Rooms: Well built girl.... The walls aren't crazy thin like they are at some others.Nearby activities: Putt putt nearby and several places to eat are within walking distance. Everything you need within a 5 minute drive. Universal is a 5 minute drive away.Safety: Seemed very safe. Parking lot had good lighting.Food & drinks: Breakfast was great!!! Plenty of options.

EXCEPTIONAL hotel. This hotel is simple yet provides 5 star quality. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the free breakfast offered good options, the shuttle provided 3 morning trips to the parks (7.40, 9.00, 10.45) and 3 evening trips from the parks back to the hotel (5.20, 6.40, 8.00) reservation required during weekends and peak season. The rooms were very large, spacious and quiet with a good kitchen and bathroom. We recommend this hotel over universal hotels. We stayed in endless summer and it was a 1 star compared to this. This is truly a hidden gem.
