Honestly… the salesman, Marc, was awful to interact with. Luckily his bad service was a good indication for me to go somewhere else and dodge this bullet. He was disinterested, unfriendly, unhelpful, and disengaged. I would not recommend this place solely based on my experience with him alone.

Saw a few cars I liked online. Was greeted nicely when I got there. I gave the rep my parameters of what I was looking for. I left after an hour of waiting for the rep to retrieve the car with 2 other guys.

Hertz Car Sale, excellent service, it was very fast, the truth is that I was there for 2 hours, I live in Miami and I traveled on the Brigtline train to look for the car. I recommend it, it only makes 3 stops and it is very comfortable, the car that I bought is in very good condition and the unbeatable price, but this does not end here, the attention of the saleswoman is 5 stars Mariela Fuenmayor explained to us everything related to the procedure and the attention of the finance manager Richard Decker got us the best interest rate with low Dow payment. I highly recommend them. Thank you very much, I am very grateful for the service provided.

Buyer beware. Not saying you can't get a good deal but don't be fooled by the so-called inspection or certification. Bought a 2023 vehicle that had tires down to the wear bars and suspension damage that couldn't be discovered until it was driven at highway speeds. Now I know why Hertz won't allow test drives on the highway. Guess I'll be repairing out of pocket.

Do not purchase a car from Hertz auto sales. They are completely incompetent.
The car is good and I feel that I paid a reasonable price, but the experience was a nightmare.
Short story: I bought a vehicle from Hertz in Orlando, Florida and they said they would handle my New York State title and registration. After 75 days, many phone calls, and walking into DMV to register the vehicle myself, I finally got my registration and confirmation from NYS DMV that my title was on the way.
During this time, Hertz failed over and over to contact me, provide any updates, call me back, provide useful answers to simple questions like “When will I get my paperwork?” That question got the scripted answer “30 to 40 days”. There was a single person at Hertz, Rich at the Orlando office, that actually called me back and tried to take ownership of this process. Rich is an excellent manager and did all that he could to get this resolved.
The problem at Hertz: They are so siloed that they get absolutely nothing done. Sales gathers the paperwork they think they need and sends it to “Corporate”. It then goes to the “titling department”. They send it to RegUSA who doesn’t seem to do anything but pass it on to NYS DMV. Since the Florida sales force has no idea how to register a car in New York, DMV sends the paperwork back to Reg USA, who sends it back to titling, who sits on it for a while and finally notifies sales that they need more information. As far as I could tell from the conversations I had with many different people at Hertz, all internal communication is via email. No internal chat app. No phone calls. No ticketing system. Welcome to the 90s - without a phone system.
It looks like they submitted information for my vehicle at least 3 times and each time they were missing some vital piece of paperwork. Yes, NYS DMV is a pain to work with, but auto dealers and regular citizens manage to get cars registered every day.
Hertz timeline
17 May - Purchased the vehicle from Marc Rubinson. When we asked about registering the vehicle in New York, he said “Everything will be fine.”
12 Jun - A new temporary tag arrived on the day that the previous tag expired.
21 Jun - Hertz requested I sign an MV103, which they didn’t know was necessary for a car sale to New York.
24 Jun - I sent the signed MV103 priority mail
27 Jun - Hertz acknowledged receipt of MV103
8 Jul - Hertz sent paperwork to DMV - according to the Orlando sales manager
10 Jul - paperwork delivered to DMV
11 Jul - Second temporary tag will expire tomorrow. I called Hertz and they said they can't send a new temporary tag.
Called only Hertz dealer (Matthew) in New York for help. Absolutely no help at all.
12 Jul - Second temporary tag expires.
15 Jul - more calls.
16 Jul - more calls - Hertz asked for a new copy of the insurance ID card.
18 Jul - Hertz finally sent another temporary tag.
26 Jul - I received a letter from Farmers insurance "We have been notified by the state department of motor vehicles (DMV) that they are unable to match the information we sent them with their records for the following vehicle... your car could be impounded and license revoked if we don't rectify this situation promptly.". I called Hertz, they said nothing they could do. I blew up and demanded a manager. They said one would call in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, no call. I called back. They put me on hold and hung up 10 minutes later.
31 Jul - Hertz called to ask for another copy of my insurance ID card. They said “The barcode was not legible.” I went to the local DMV office to ask about it. The barcode was NOT the problem. It was the “Effective date”. The lady at the counter took my insurance ID to the manager in the back. When she returned, she informed me that Hertz had done at least SOME of the work and my title w

Wanted to buy a car from here and filled all the online paperwork to do so, only to have an older man call and tell me that “he is not willing to sell it” to me because I don’t live in Florida. I told him I was willing to drive to get it and he said it didn’t matter. He told me to call other dealerships to see if “someone else would be willing to sell it” to me.

We purchased a Chevy EUV Bolt from Hertz Orlando at the end of May. During the purchase, they upsold us an additional warranty, which we agreed to. However, upon further consideration, we called them to cancel the additional warranty. They informed us that we had to wait two weeks for the paperwork to process before they could remove it. We have been trying to reach out to them by calling and leaving messages, but no one has returned our calls. We are extremely frustrated with the lack of response. We strongly urge Hertz Orlando to promptly remove the additional warranty as requested. This lack of customer service is unacceptable.

Ok, to be fair: salesmen are super friendly & they’ll do their best to the customer to have a good experience, after their job is done, get ready to wait for more than 6 hours (sometimes more) because the manager is taking all the time to receive the next customer, the managers are the worst they don’t know how to deal with customers, or may be it’s a policy from Hertz!
Super disappointed!!

After encountering negative experiences with my local dealers, I checked out Hertz. The no-haggle price was better than the other no-haggle dealers. I was able to easily book my vehicle for the Rent2Buy program. It was nice to know it was reserved and would be available when I arrived. I was traveling from 2 states away and my salesman, Marc, kindly sent me pictures so I could check out the interior and exterior. When I arrived, it was cleaned up nicely and I was promptly able to start renting it for the 3 days. During the rental I was able to thoroughly check out the 4WD drivetrain and the various accessories. It was nice to know I could take it to a shop for inspection during this time also. I decided to purchase and Marc and Rodney completed the paperwork in a timely fashion, allowing me to drive it home that day. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy from Hertz again.

Purchased my first car in Orlando from their old location service was great. New location took 40 min to tell me that I should have made an appointment and that the cars I was looking at online wasn't even in the lot.
