Food and service was excellent. Rooms a little outdated. No microwave. With early admission the rides weren't available!

Our experience with Hard Rock Hotel was amazing! Staying Club level was definitely worth the money. We enjoyed having access to the Club Lounge for food and drinks throughout the day. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. On the day we arrived, it was my husband's 40th birthday. The Rock Royalty concierge went out of his way to get us dinner reservations for a large group on the City Walk. The next day while we were out enjoying the park, they dropped off a plate of chocolate covered strawberries in our room and a birthday card for my husband. They even hooked us up with a complimentary cabana at the pool on our last day. This hotel far exceeded our expectations!Rooms: Our room was very clean when we arrived, and we founds the beds to be exceptionally comfortable. We had a double queen room, and found it to be a good size for 3 of us.Walkability: We loved the proximity to the parks. It was approximately a 5-10 minute walk to City Walk. We did take advantage of the water taxi a couple of times, but overall we enjoyed being so close to the parks.Food & drinks: Food was exceptional. We took advantage of the Club Lounge for breakfast every morning. It was a nice selection of breakfast items. We also popped in to the Club Lounge a few times in the evening to take advantage of the happy hour and the light dinner. We dined at The Beach Club twice, and we ate once at The Kitchen. The Kitchen was a top notch dining experience!Noteworthy details: The staff at this hotel is exceptional all the way around. Everyone is so friendly and helpful all the time. They went out of there way multiple times to make us feel comfortable and the extra things they did that we were not expecting made our stay so much better.

This place is EXCELLENT! Great rooms, great atmosphere! Walking distance to the theme parks. Staff was very helpful. The hotel is beautiful! Everything you could possibly want in a hotel.Rooms: The rooms are very nice. Comfortable beds, nice TV, and a great view.Walkability: There is a water taxi but the walk to the city walk and theme parks is only about 8 minutes, and the entire walk is beautifully landscaped with bridges and trees and gardens.Food & drinks: There are 2 restaurants and even a snack store in the hotel so you don't have to leave to dine out if you don't want to. Room service is also available 24-7.Noteworthy details: The Hotel is beautiful and the atmosphere for music lovers of all ages is amazing!

Room Service food was mediocre, very over priced for microwave mac and cheese. Room was very hot and miserable unable to enjoy the view as I had to keep the shades closed. I was provided box fans to cool room. The 12x12 vent is not enough air to keep the room cool and enjoyable for FL heat. Visited in April so I would hate to visit in July! Would give 0 stars if I could. Management is aware of the AC issues because they purchased several 100 box fans to give to customers that complain.

The hotel is great, but we encountered some issues. The bath had hair when we just stepped in.The room was clean and spacious though. The walls in this hotel are very thin, we could hear people next door making noise until 2 am, we could hear every word. After calling a front desk to solve this issue, they promised to send a security there. Not sure if they did, but couldn't sleep until 2 am. I had to go to the neighbors and tell them to stay quiet. The pool was amazing, water slide was the best attraction there.I'm not staying there next time.

Staying at the hard rock hotel in orlando was a big mistake. The room was overall the biggest disappointment because of the fact that it was dirty in the bathroom and lights were weird but also didn’t work. The mirror had paint on it which looked like blood although the other mirror was cool with the heights. The lights were red which looked like a scary haunted room and the other one was flickering and wouldn’t turn on. The bathroom shower head fell off while showering and it looked like a dirty collage bathroom. The beds were comfy and curtains were nice. The hallway rugs were very dirty and people at night screaming in the hallways was not the best way to fall asleep. The walk to universal from the hotel was nice because it was only a 5 min walk. The pool was nice and not so cold which was refreshing, although there was a ton of sand in the pool from the patches of sand by the lounge chairs. The hot tubs were dirty but the waterslide and volleyball court was very fun. The pool food service during the day was good and at night was not that good. I ordered one meal of chicken wings and two hours later they finally came. It was then 10 o’clock at night and was very upset. This was not all what we expected. There wasn’t any drawers in the tables of the room and toilets were ok but the lobby food service was pretty good just still really pricey. The overall lobby itself was nicer than the rooms. We expected it to be better than the Hyatt hotel but I honestly recommend Hyatt hotel more because of it being cheaper and way better quality. Definitely not worth it for $500 per night.Rooms: The room was overall the biggest disappointment because of the fact that it was dirty in the bathroom and lights were weird but also didn’t work.
