The nursing staff and doctor were great. I want to say thank you for the professionalism and care, the medical team showed my boyfriend last night! The down fall to this review is the security guard that was working in the front last night by the name of Kenneth! He was horrible and rude! When I arrived to the ER to the reception desk I told him that my boyfriend passed out and hit his head, could he go get help, instead he was fixated on having us wait and fill out the paper in the waiting room and stated to me if I wanted to be seen faster by the doctor , I should of called 911 and been brought in by ambulance. One thing I do know for sure is that a security guard does not have the medical credentials to triage a patient. So when Kenneth stated to me “if I wanted to have my boyfriend seen faster I should have call 911”, that is out of a security guards scope of work! This is scary and the way he was yelling at me was even more frightening. I’m very heartbroken because I work for HCA and I know this is not the mission we uphold.

Great experience overall. Dr. Skinner, the nurses, and techs were all very responsive, and I felt well cared for. Dr. Skinner called me a few days later to make sure I was doing well—first time a doctor has ever done that.

Absolutely horrible experience last night here with my boyfriend. He came in with severe pain 9/10 which nobody asked his pain level or the type of pain experienced.
First the wait was about 1-1.5 hours to be seen.
Once inside the room NOBODY and i mean NOBODY Not the Doctor nor the nurses wore gloves (What happened to hand hygiene being number 1 infection prevention? Its a fundamental in any medical school).
We Proceeded to explain to the nurse how Ibuprofen was no longer working as this has been and on and off issue. so instead they said we can only offer Motrin (Just another name for ibuprofen), they gave him it and of course didn't work like we said, pain was still there, Dysphagia was still there, he couldn't even eat dinner after the visit because he was still in so much pain.
Charged $300 later for nothing but possible infection transmissions from the carelessness of gloveless staff and two prescriptions. no gloves touching a thermometer probe that came out an oral cavity to throw away, where was the hand hygiene after that? Wasn't seen by us. GROSS!!!
Don't come here they will not help you, charge you out the roof and treat you like you don't know anything and you're just another paycheck for them.
Go to a hospital where the staff and medical professionals genuinely care about you and your health, save your time and don't increase your stress coming here.

DO NOT GO HERE, EVER. I went here a week ago by ambulance with severe vomiting and loss of muscle control. I couldn't open my eyes or use my arms or legs. The nurses treated me like a drug addict and a rag doll...they dragged me on the floor and held me up by the neck of my nightgown, CHOKING me for several minutes. I had to scream at them to stop hurting me for her to let go of me. They then high-fived after getting a urine sample from me this way. SO UNACCEPTABLE. They released me as I was still actively throwing up and still unable to see, instead of transferring me to a full fledged hospital that could actually help me. I will send complaint emails to every single person I can find until these "nurses" are reprimanded. One of their names was Kelly and the other has the initials AL, which is on my discharge papers.

I came directly to this Hospital because I know that here they do the studies that they have to do according to the condition you have, I always come to this one even if I live far away and the truth is today I came and I left super happy like the other previous times I came. The staff were very friendly...they were excellent with my daughter, they treated her with patience and all the time encouraging her to NOT continue crying...they answered any questions...better here than in the urgent care. ..100% recommended

I went to this ER looking for help because I could hardly even walk for months I knew something was wrong but at this point the pain was unbearable. First of all, when I walked in the place was empty and I mean for employees as well. There was no one in the lobby I had to walk around and yell hello???? For someone to come. But my main problem was the doctor, Stephanie Burgos. She treated me like as if me crying and barely able to get on the bed on my own was no big deal and she told me she believed nothing was wrong that I had probably just “pulled a muscle” because I told her I do try to go to the gym. She reccomended stretching and yoga and a Percocet prescription which I declined and asked for something less intense. I also heard her mocking me in the hall telling the other staff how I went to the gym and that was the cause of my issue. She dismissed me completely and didn’t even bother to make sure nothing was wrong with an Xray or anything. I did go to another doctor who did care enough to do imaging and I just want you to know Stephanie, I did have a moderate disc herniation which you should’ve been able to diagnose had you had more care for your patients instead of being dismissive and arrogant. Please don’t go here. Go to a doctor that cares … the new ER on Osceola from Orlando health is wonderful.

I use to love this hospital and it was so close. I will never step foot in this hospital ever again. My daughter had two emergencies and I have tried to apply for grants and got denied to help in regards to my bills for her. Than , they send me to a collection agency really? When they knew I was applying for grants. When you call the billing department you get the run around of who you talk too. All separate places and it is a nightmare. They got a hold of all my children’s information in there system as well cause someone hacked there system. I suggest never to go to this hospital unless you want a nightmare of run arounds.

Never going back! Lived in Hunters Creek for years and this is my 2nd time going. I walk in and had to greet the guy at the front desk. I filled out a paper and was called to the back. The nurse asked me what was going on and then proceeded to say, “there’s not much we can do for you here. All we can do is get a urine and bloodwork. We don’t have an ultrasound tech here and we’ll have to call for one. Not sure how long that’ll be. So it’s up to you.” His colleagues were all just standing there looking at us while I made my decision to finally leave. It was uncomfortable and there was no compassion at all. I work in the medical field. It’s unacceptable how they treated me.
