I opened a personal account with Leslie and had an excellent experience she was extremely knowledgeable, so I went back later the same day to open a joint account for my wife and I. She also informed me of the business accounts. I went to another branch close to my business to open a business account but left there disappointed, so I went back to the Lee Vista branch and opened my business account with Andrea. This location has the best bankers i have ever worked with. I highly recommend them. From now on, Leslie and Andrea are the only people I would want to bank with.

Invade your peace and privacy. Courtesy call after courtesy call even after I've asked to not be called because I work overnight.

Went to that branch to open an account, waited 30 minutes and had to walk out as nobody helped. Staff was doing their own thing. Bad service, not happy

This location started off great a decade ago. 53 bank has deteriorated to less than below average. The branch manager is never in this office. The remaining staff is a waste of time dealing with as they do NOT have authority to do anything. They stated they would call me when the branch manager was in the next day. Never happened. Calling their branch office is futile as they do NOT answer the phones even during business hours. Why is this bank still in business?

I liked this bank in particular, but now I only go there because its close. They can't seem to send a simple debit card to a basic address. Three times already, if I knew who to contact I would love to place a proper complaint.

Horrible Experience with 5 3 bank at Lee Vista that turned my Saving into Losing Account!!! $50 CHARGE if you want to close it even 5 3 bank made all mistakes on the account.... SO REGRET to open account with 5 3 Bank at Lee Vista Blvd --- I placed my business savings with this bank six months ago. It has been charged $10.75 twice and one $2.20 in the past six months while I was told there is no minimum requirement to keep this saving account. Knowing that I have good savings in this account, I came to the bank to ask for refund on 3/9/2011. They credited my account and admitted that they put me in the wrong type of account in the beginning and said it will never happen again after they corrected it. However, 3/15/2011 which is 6 days later the service charge $10.75 showed up again. So I called this bank to ask the gentleman who fixed the account before. Due to taking him a while over the phone then he offered to call me back when he got an answer. Few days later, I called him again on 4/1/11. After a long waiting, the phone got to the branch manager. To my very surprise-- the manager told me that the previous charges got refunded was based on their courtesy. She said they will not waive $10.75 this time. While evaluating earned $0.59 interests this month, I felt no sense to keep this saving account if I need to losing money due to these "mistaken" service charges by 5 3 Bank. So I asked to close it. Guess what? I need to pay $50 in order to close this account!!!! The branch manager told me --for business account there is ALWAYS a $50 charge to close it if I chose to close it today, 6 months or one year later... Thus I called their 1800 numbers customer service to seeking help. End of the representive still told me that there is nothing they can do either to refunding $10.75 nor closing it without penalty. I just teased myself that I rather put all cash under bed than opened a saving account with 5 3 bank...! The reason I post this review is to share my experience which I never encountered this type of "surprised services" with other banks.
